Hench-Sized Comic Reviews – 10/20/18
Happy New Daredevil Season Weekend, everybody! I’m up to my eyeballs in new Daredevil episodes, and it’s pretty grand. I’ll try to get a review post up next week. But until then, how about some comics? Not many this week, or at least, not as many as I should have read.
We’ve got new Batman, new Runaways and new Mr. & Mrs. X, but Comic Book of the Week goes to the return of Unstoppable Wasp! Love me some Unstoppable Wasp!
Meanwhile, I continue to flake out on reading Thor. I dunno what’s happened! I’ve loved Jason Aaron’s Thor since the beginning, but I think the art and the weak storyline of the revived series turned me off, and then we’ve got this current far-in-the-future storyline. I’ll try to read them someday. I also keep failing at reading Nightwing’s new status quo. I should get into that too.
Comic Reviews: Batman #57, Mr. & Mrs. X #4, Runaways #14 and The Unstoppable Wasp #1.
Some More of that Ant-Man and the Wasp Goodness!
Predictably, I expected the various YouTube parody videos to make their rounds today celebrating Ant-Man and the Wasp. I have been partially correct so far, at lest.
Enjoy the Honest Trailer for Ant-Man and the Wasp!
Love me some Honest Trailers!
If and when the How It Should Have Ended video drops today, I’ll add that to this post!

Gonna Do a Bunch of Ant-Man and the Wasp Stuff Today
Ant-Man and the Wasp comes out on DVD today, for people who still use DVDs. I’ll probably Red Box it this weekend, for people who still use Red Box. This being the case, there’s bound to be a bunch of funny Ant-Man and the Wasp internet stuff I can share today.
Let’s start with this big video of all the bonus features, deleted scenes and bloopers.
Yeah, fun stuff! It’s a good movie and I look forward to watching it again, and seeing Ant-Man and the Wasp show up in Avengers 4.

6 Thoughts on Ant-Man and the Wasp
The growing Ant-Man franchise might not be the biggest money-maker for the Marvel Cinematic Universe, but I still love it like all the rest! In fact, I kind of love it a little more, because Ant-Man is my favorite superhero in the MCU. And I’m so glad that his movies are so much fun!

Movie Rating: 8/10 – Very Good.
I’m a little disappointed that we’ve got to wait all the way until March for Captain Marvel. That’s a long wait! Of course, I say that knowing that years fly by like the snap of a finger in adulthood, and it will be March before we know it, and we’ll be complaining that, “Jeez, it’s already March”, and another entire year will have passed to bring me and all of us closer to the grave…
But hey! Ant-Man and the Wasp! Join me after the jump for my full review. And expect FULL SPOILERS for the movie!
