Let’s Take a Great Look at Suicide Squad: Kill the Justice League!
Suicide Squad: Kill the Justice League is coming. The big time follow-up to the Arkham series by Rocksteady, this game is looking big and badass and full of everything. And this new trailer gives us our best, fullest look yet at just what that everything will entail. It’s a lot more than I was expecting!
I love a good gear and cosmetic system! I really look forward to figuring out how co-op will work. I like the sound of more playable characters down the line. I think it’s interesting that they’ve tied combat to superheroic traversal. And it all looks great. This is gonna be one heck of a video game! So glad I splurged on that Playstation 5. It’s serving me well so far.
Suicide Squad: Kill the Justice League comes out on May 26.

6 Thoughts on Ant-Man and the Wasp: Quantumania
Ant-Man is my favorite Avenger. He’s probably not my favorite franchise in the Marvel Cinematic Universe, but he’s my favorite Avengers hero, largely because Paul Rudd is simply awesome. So I’m totally on board for more Ant-Man movies. I like the first two, I like all the characters; let’s have a good time! And Ant-Man and the Wasp: Quantumania is a good time. It’s not a great movie, and I can see why it’s getting middling reviews, but I had a blast at the theater. I hope this isn’t the last movie in the Ant-Man and Wasp series.
Movie Rating: 8/10 – Very Good
Part of the problem, I think, is that movie critics are done with the MCU. I’ve read a couple of reviews, read a lot of the online discussion, and I think people are just not as excited anymore. I get it. I understand. I’m not one of them, of course. I’ll be a Marvel fanboy for life. I’m gladly watching everything Marvel puts out. But I think the public sentiment has shifted. Marvel and Disney weren’t about to stop after Avengers: Endgame. They can’t. They’re a business. So they expanded into TV shows, expanded into new characters and new franchises. And perhaps the quality has suffered due to the quantity. I can see it. And I’m confident Kevin Feige is smart enough to learn and pivot.
I enjoyed Ant-Man and the Wasp: Quantumania, some parts more than others .Join me after the jump for my thoughts/review of the film. Expect FULL SPOILERS for the whole movie.

Total War: Warhammer III was my favorite video game last year. I love the Total War games, especially the Warhammer ones. It’s a real time strategy game set in a huge world and featuring armies of orks, trolls, wizards, dragons and much, much more. I’ve been playing for at least a decade, through all three games. And one of the funnest aspects is that the developers have simply expanded the same map each time.
And now that whole map is open to everybody just buying Warhammer III.
So basically, in the first Total War: Warhammer, we had a big map and half a dozen or so races to fight on it. In Warhammer II, they kept that same map, then added a whole bunch of new continents, islands and races to the west. And now in Warhammer III, they expanded to the east, south and north, making a huuuuuge map with dozens of available races. Before now, players needed to have all three games to play this big map. Now the developers have opened the map up to just people buying Warhammer III, so it’s less of a pricey process for anybody who wants to give it a try.
That’s neat! And I also just wanted to share that cool announcement video, because it’s really neat. I highly recommend this games, and I’m very much looking forward to years of DLC and new races and generals coming up in the future.

Hench-Sized Comic Book Reviews – 2/18/23
Everything’s coming up Milhouse! What an excellent week for comics, my friends! Oddly, none of the DC titles I’m currently reading came out this week. But a metric ton of Marvel comics I’m into did! So we’ve got new Fantastic Four, X-Men, Invincible Iron Man and more!
Comic Book of the Week goes to Mighty Morphin Power Rangers #105 because this series continues to be simply my favorite. Especially thanks to cute and funny moments like this.
Meanwhile, if you’re reading this the day it’s posted, I’ll be going to see Ant-Man and the Wasp: Quantumania today! I’m excited, because I like the Ant-Man movies. It’s getting some mixed reviews, but all those reviews point to a movie that I’m still likely to enjoy. I wasn’t able to see it opening night because I was still at work. Ain’t that a kicker? But it should be fun, and I’ll post my review/thoughts on Wednesday.
Comic Reviews: Fantastic Four #4, Invincible Iron Man #3, Mighty Morphin Power Rangers #105, Monica Rambeau: Photon #3, Wasp #3 and X-Men #19.

This has been a huge week for movie trailers. And these are no different!
First up is a big new trailer for John Wick: Chapter 4. This will probably be a big, awesome film with awesome action and an awesome Keanu Reeves at its center. Lotsa guns, lotsa fighting, lotsa action; it’s a John Wick movie.
This movie and trailer strike me as so weird, sometimes, when you consider how this franchise started. John Wick was working as a hitman for some lowly Russian gangster in a single city. Was he slumming it with that guy? Have they ever talked about it in any of the sequels?
Ah well, doesn’t matter. The new one should be fun. John Wick: Chapter 4 comes to theaters on March 24.
Next up is a new trailer for a film we didn’t know was coming: a Tetris biopic!
I love Tetris as much as the next person. I hope this is a cool and exciting story! An American with a dream about Tetris goes to Russia to get his hands on the ultimate video game. Looks pretty exciting and full of action. Maybe it’ll be the best video game adaptation movie of all time.
Tetris is coming to AppleTV+ on March 31.
