Just a Nice Cartoon About Modern Life
I start a busy project at work today, so I’m gonna be a little tied up for the next week or so. Should be fun! But that means I must beg your forgiveness if I slack off a little during the week. For example, I didn’t really have anything planned to write or share this morning.
So I thought I’d turn you all onto the Youtube cartoon People Watching. It’s made by Winston Rowntree and the artists at Subnormality, posted online through Cracked. Here’s the first episode!
I highly recommend watching all 10 episodes. They’re short little Youtube cartoons, about 10 minutes or so, but they’re a pretty smart, pretty deep look into modern life. Or maybe they’re overly preachy or treacly or something. I don’t know how you’re gonna feel about them! I just know that I enjoyed the episodes and they helped give me insight into new and interesting ideas about the modern psyche. And that’s good enough for me.
Enjoy the rest of your Monday! I’m thinking of writing an annoyed rant about this dumb new Marvel Legacy garbage. Maybe I’ll get around to that later….

Star Wars: Rebels Coming to An End
Star Wars: Rebels has grown on me over the years, so I’m a little sad that next fall’s fourth season will be it’s last.
But hey, we all knew this couldn’t last forever. There couldn’t still be Jedi hanging around when Luke Skywalker arrives on the scene. So is the fourth season gonna get really dark? Will we see the Battle of Scarif from the Rebels’ perspective? Will Ahsoka return?
Guess we’re gonna find out!

That Same Old Beauty and the Beast Joke, But Slightly Better
The new Beauty and the Beast movie comes out this weekend, which means all our favorite parody Youtube accounts are covering the old Beauty and the Beast cartoon. I’m feeling kind of lazy in the middle of this snowstorm, so I only watched one of them.
Hooray Honest Trailers! They make that same old classic Stockholm Syndrome joke, but they put it to song, so that’s bully on them!
I’m sure the other parody videos are around the Internet somewhere…

The Ducktales Voices Are Going to Take Some Getting Used To
I was a big fan of Ducktales back in the day. Heck, my childhood stuffed animal was Louie, the green one! So it’s gonna be weird to watch the new cartoon with all the new voices.
I love the cast in this cartoon. It’s some of my favorite funny people. But those voices, especially Uncle Scrooge, are going to take some getting used to.

I Was Not Prepared For This Monday
I don’t know what crazy partying I did this weekend, but apparently it caused me to push off all blog prep for today. So in lieu of an actually interesting thing to read, here’s a fun featurette on The LEGO Batman Movie!
Comes out in, like, two weeks! So excited!
