If for, whatever reason, this is the first time you’re hearing about or seeing this GTA6 Extended Look, you’re a saint for paying such close attention to my blog. How nice of you. Basically, for GTA6, we’ve had two trailers more than a year ago. And now Rockstar Games has released a half-hour long gameplay showcase. It started out on Netflix, and then came to YouTube last night. It’s gorgeous.

Look, I’m already incredibly hyped for GTA6. I’ve played and loved all mainstream GTA games, all the way back to GTA1. I was there. I played GTA2 like my life depended on it. I bought GTA3 months before I was able to save up enough money to buy a Playstation 4 back in college because I was so excited. I’m hoping I live long enough to play GTA7. So I’ve got GTA gaming in my blood.

I think this looks great. I have zero complaints. I’ll be pre-ordering the $100 version of the game because I can afford an extra $20 if it means more of the game to enjoy. I have zero problem with locking some cosmetics behind a Deluxe Edition. Games have been doing that for ages. I love the idea that, instead of just dumping the bonus goodies in your inventory at the start of the game, Rockstar went to the trouble of inserting them naturally in the game world. I don’t care that video games are going disc-less. I dropped discs ages ago and I’ll probably be too old to care when digital-only comes back to bite us all in the butt.

I just want my GTA6! I took the week off from work when it comes out! Just hook it to my veins!
