We Are Totally Getting a Ben Reilly as Scarlet Spider Comic Book
The inevitable is now confirmed: the original Scarlet Spider will be getting his own comic again. Right now, Ben Reilly has come back from the dead in Clone Conspiracy as the semi-villainous Jackal. The story isn’t over, but Marvel is totally cool about revealing that he’ll survive the story and come out the other side as the star of Ben Reilly: The Scarlet Spider.
His costume isn’t very good.
It also looks worse than the last guy to star in a Scarlet Spider comic, Kaine. That black and red costume was the bomb.
Speaking of whom, Kaine will also be a major character in the new comic, so that’s awesome. I find myself liking Kaine more than Ben these days. I look forward to seeing the two of them butting heads in the new comic!
The series was announced on Comic Book Resources. You can read the brief interview with writer Peter David, whom I like, and artist Mark Bagley, whom I also like. This is a pretty awesome Spider-Man creative team.

Hey Look, It’s That There Justice League!
A picture of the united Justice League movie team hit the Internet over the weekend, and I’m gonna share it with the lot of you. I’m just that cool of a guy.
Looks like a neat picture, but is, of course, all dark, gritty and really gloomy. This isn’t very heroic-looking at all. But this is going to be our Justice League, so all we can do is hope and wait.

Hench-Sized Comic Book Reviews – 1/7/17
The new year is off to a great start! I got a mega dose of new comics this week, and hot damn if they weren’t all high caliber, enjoyable comics! It was like people were writing and drawing specifically for me!
Not only does Harley Quinn get back to roaring action, but we’ve got stellar outings for Nightwing, Hawkeye and Unworthy Thor! Even the first issue of the new U.S. Avengers was a smash! And I caught up with the new Nova! Imagine that.
Comic Book of the Week goes to another first issue: Unstoppable Wasp #1! Marvel is really killing it with the awesome, adorable, kickass female superheroes!

She makes a good point
I haven’t reviewed Saga in awhile, even though it’s still an enjoyable comic. I like Saga, but for the past few volumes, it feels like Brian K. Vaughn is spinning his wheels. Am I alone in this? The stories are still fine, and the cliffhangers are as strong as ever, but I feel like the story has become lost in the weeds a bit. Ah well, that’s not going to stop me from reading.
Comic Reviews: Harley Quinn #11, Hawkeye #2, Nightwing #12, Nova #2, Unstoppable Wasp #1, Unworthy Thor #3 and U.S. Avengers #1.
Why Does Funko POP! Not Yet Have a Multiple Man?
Answer me this, Internet, why does the Funko POP! brand not yet make a Multiple Man figurine? Why does this insanely popular line of figures, which are only good for collecting as many as possible, not yet make one featuring a superhero whose sole power is to make multiple copies of himself?!
If superheroes are all about merchandising these days, how come nobody makes proper figures of the one popular superhero whose exact super power would cause collectors to buy multiple copies?

This guy, this costume
Look, I’ve complained about this before, but in the nearly six years since, this problem has not been corrected by toy manufacturers. They have not moved a muscle to remedy this very obvious issue.
Now I’m hoping Funko POP! can deliver where everyone else has failed. Maybe one of them Googles themselves a lot and finds this article.
Have you seen these things? They’re hugely popular. I own one for the Green Power Ranger, but I could easily see a susceptible toy-lover like myself just going nuts over these things if they made more characters that I liked. They have a few X-Men models, and they’re the perfect sort of no-nonsense collectible.

Cyclops was right. Pax Utopia.
But they haven’t made one of Multiple Man! It’s maddening.
They have Funko POP!s for everything from obscure Star Wars bounty hunters to A Bug’s Life to Gears of War to The Breakfast Club to random Star Trek aliens to so many Batman variants it’ll make your head spin. They have Funko POP!s for everything!
Do any of these characters have the power to duplicate themselves, thereby warranting the need to buy multiple copies of a single Funko POP!? Would anybody need or want to buy multiple copies of the Green Arrow Funko POP!? No! Of course not!
Listen, Funko POP!, I’m giving you this one for free. It’s a no-brainer. I will personally buy at least three of these things. Make it happen!
And while we’re on the subject, I’m also still waiting for that Multiple Man from Marvel Legends. My watch is never-ending.

I Really Wanna Play The Last Guardian
My favorite video game of all time is Shadow of the Colossus from the Playstation 2 era. That thing was a video game masterpiece. And, like everybody else, I have been patiently waiting for The Last Guardian to come out.
Well now it’s here and I don’t get to play it!
I don’t play video games on console anymore. It’s all PC and Steam! So somebody bring The Last Guardian to Steam. Make it happen. And if the Honest Trailers people can do it, then do it! I wanna play!
