A Heavy Metal Version of ‘What Does the Fox Say?’
I dunno, you guys. I surf the internet like any random bloke and sometimes stumble across nifty things I can share on my blog. Like this heavy metal version of What Does the Fox Say? by Leo Moracchioli.
Now that’s just plain fun internetting. I like the song, and the heavy metal version is pretty fun. And that’s why we have internet.

There’s Finally a Robin Beyond!
For awhile now, DC Comics has been continuing the saga of Batman Beyond in comic book form. The cartoon is long gone, but people love Batman Beyond, so it’s still going.
And at long last, we have a Robin Beyond!
Unfortunately, Robin Beyond is not Maxine Gibson, which would have been awesome. Instead, Robin Beyond is Terry’s younger brother, Matt. He’s a bit older now and he joins into the fight to help Terry when he’s overwhelmed. He first suited up as Robin a couple issues ago, using an old costume from the Batcave. But in the latest issue, Batman Beyond #22, Bruce Wayne built him a better, more official costume.
Good for him. As longtime readers of this blog are aware, I’m a huge Robin fan, and this is a pretty cool development. I’m not so much of a fan that I’m going to start reading the Batman Beyond comic. I don’t care that much. I just wanted to note this cool development.
And it is pretty damn cool! Though, again, I would have preferred if it was Max.

The Answer to Why Thanos Couldn’t Just Wish For More Resources
Avengers: Infinity War is out on DVD this month, so the question has returned as to why Thanos couldn’t simply use the Infinity Gauntlet to wish for more resources instead of wiping out half of all life in the universe. Part of what made the movie so good is that Thanos is such a compelling villain. He believes whole-heartedly that he’s doing the right thing, that this evil act is for the good of the universe. According to Thanos, planets and their peoples will thrive and avoid overpopulation if he arbitrarily wipes out half of them. He knows it’s a tough call to make, but he believes he is the only one strong enough to make it.
Thanos thinks he’s helping.
But wouldn’t creating double the resources also work, and keep everybody alive?
I don’t think so at all.
First of all, you’ve got to remember that Thanos is a mad man. He’s not some altruistic hero out for the greater good. He’s comfortable with genocide, so he’s going to go with genocide.
Second of all, with the release of Avengers: Infinity War on DVD, we’ve got an official answer from the people who created the movie:
“Well, he was told ‘no’ to an idea that he had that he felt was the only solution, and then was proved right to himself when that solution was not acted upon,” Joe Russo said. “So his messianic complex — he is now committed to following through on the idea he had many many years ago. He is not a stable — although he appears stable at times, he is not a stable individual.”
That seems like a pretty solid explanation to me. But there are a few more reasons on top of that, if you’ll allow me to explain.
Scream is in the Venom Movie After All!
Good news, everybody! It turns out that Scream, my favorite of the symbiotes, is in the Venom movie after all! I had no idea. The other day, when I shared the latest trailer, I complained that SONY had settled on Riot as the villain. He’s the least interesting of the five Separation Anxiety symbiotes. I suggested they use Scream, the bright yellow female symbiote. She looks damn cool.
A couple things happened after I watched that trailer. First, I watched it again and saw the woman with the symbiote blade arm thing at about 1:54 in the trailer. I wasn’t sure what to make of that. I just assumed it was more symbiote craziness.
Then I saw online that that actress is Michelle Lee, who is playing Donna Diego, according to IMDB. And Donna Diego is the real name of Scream, the female symbiote.
So how do you like them apples? My favorite symbiote is in the movie after all! I hope she’ll still be bright yellow, with badass blade hair!
