San Diego Comic-Con is in full swing and a bunch of trailers have come out, but it’s a lazy Sunday, so I’m only in the mood to share this one. We’ve got a big, extended, full of stuff trailer for the upcoming Lanterns TV show. I think it looks great.

I always had faith in this show. I didn’t buy into any of the negativity about it being too drab or brown, or there not being enough green, or Hal Jordan being too old. People be complaining about so much stuff these days. But it’s that sort of world, and I try to let it roll off my back. This show looks great. I’m all for a gritty crime drama, and this one is now coupled with the Green Lantern Corps, full of characters and aliens and powers and rings and Sinestro. I’m all-in.

Lanterns comes to HBO Max on Aug. 16.
