Spider-Man: Far From Home Looks Great!
The first trailer for Spider-Man: Far From Home has arrived and it looks really great! It’s funny, has some neat drama, and Mysterio looks pretty awesome so far.
Granted, Spider-Man: Into the Spider-Verse may have changed the game when it comes to Spider-Man movies, but this one looks pretty dope nonetheless. Everybody’s coming back. We get to see Nick Fury interacting with Spider-Man. The fish bowl head on Mysterio is cool. Far From Home looks solid so far!
The new film arrives on July 5.

Good News, Everybody! Tim Drake Is Robin Again!
The first issue of the revived Young Justice hit the stands last week and revealed that Tim Drake is Robin again. That’s great news for us Tim Drake fans! It’s been a long, grueling road since DC Comics gunked everything up back in the New 52 in 2011. They altered his origin and declared that Tim Drake was only ever “Red Robin” for some reason. Then Rebirth came along and they changed his origin back to normal, declaring that he had been Robin in the beginning, but had since changed to Red Robin.
And now, at long last, Tim Drake resumes the mantle of Robin. He’s the best Robin, has the best Robin costumes, and he deserves the title!
I tried to Google “Brian Michael Bendis” and “Robin” to see if there were any interviews where he explained why he made Tim Drake Robin again, but I couldn’t find any. Or maybe I didn’t dig deep enough. And I haven’t seen any explanation for what this means for Damian Wayne, the current Robin. Perhaps there will be two Robins? It’s not like having a Robin and a Red Robin was all that different.
The important thing is, “Batman and Robin” matters. It’s a household team. They’re the dynamic duo. It matters that Tim Drake was and is Robin. Granted, he’s probably going to spend all of his time with Young Justice and not teaming up with Batman. But anything could happen going forward. For now, it’s just enough to be happy and excited that something is going right with my favorite comic book characters.

The Final Season of Game of Thrones Be Coming!
We all be eagerly anticipating the new and final season of Game of Thrones, so good news, it be coming on April 14. Here’s a teaser trailer to tell us that.
I’m excited for the final season. Who wouldn’t be? I have zero predictions for how it’s all going to end up, other than probably great tragedy.
Also, since I don’t watch it live, I’m probably going to have everything spoiled for me by the following days…

Hench-Sized Comic Book Reviews – 1/12/19
Holy guacamole, it’s another big week for comics! Not only were there a bunch of my favorite titles already, like Squirrel Girl and Go Go Power Rangers, but there were also a couple of brand new comics I wanted to try out, like Captain Marvel and Young Justice! So be prepared for plenty of reviews!
Comic Book of the Week goes to the final issue of Iceman, where writer Sina Grace goes all out in his second grand finale!
Meanwhile, I continue to fail at catching up to Jason Aaron’s Thor comic. I have a digital stack just waiting for me to read, but I can’t seem to bring myself to do it. I want to get caught up on Thor! I really do! But I’ve also got random YouTube to watch…
Comic Reviews: Captain Marvel #1, Go Go Power Rangers #16, The Green Lantern #3, Iceman #5, Unbeatable Squirrel Girl #40, Uncanny X-Men #9, X-23 #8 and Young Justice #1.
The Punisher Season 2 is Only a Week Away!
The second season of The Punisher on Netflix releases into all of our lives next Friday! I was pretty OK with the first season, and you best believe I’m going to watch the second.
The biggest thing I want from season 2 — other than a direct adaptation of The Slavers — is more actual punishing. I want him in the outfit with the skull logo killing criminals. I don’t like that Jigsaw is coming back, to keep the fight personal. I want the Punisher indiscriminately killing criminals and bad guys. That’s the Punisher!
