Outta Nowhere, It’s the First Trailer for The Mandalorian and Grogu!

Here we go, baby! It’s the first trailer for The Mandalorian and Grogu, the movie spin-off from The Mandalorian TV show. The name is still a mouthful, but whatever, I am here for it! I am someone who enjoyed the third season of The Mandalorian and still enjoys most Star Wars content.

And this trailer looks neat! It looks like a big, dumb Star Wars fan service-filled vanity project, but…I don’t care. If Disney and Star Wars wanna keep throwing money at big projects like this, I’ll keep watching. Does Disney suck for cancelling Jimmy Kimmel? Absolutely! But I’m gonna watch what I wanna watch, and that includes this big, dumb movie!

The Mandalorian and Grogu comes to theaters on May 22.

The Fantastic Four…Animated!

It’s a Monday, and that’s always a good time for a video from Tell It Animated. The dude still does good work. And this new video is no different, covering all four (five!) members of the Fantastic Four in both cartoon and movie forms. Good work for sure!

I watched the Fantastic Four cartoon from the 90s and it was a hoot. And then I’ve still never seen Fan4stic! I daresay I contain multitudes.

As always, I vote his next episode be about Robin!

Hench-Sized Comic Book Reviews – 9/13/25

I don’t normally post comic reviews from two weeks at a time, but work got really busy at the end of last week and I just didn’t get around to posting the reviews I prepared. So I’ve added a couple reviews to this week’s regular releases, like Absolute Batman and Captain America.

Comic Book of the Week goes to the Batman/Deadpool crossover because I love me a good Marvel/DC crossover project!

I really do think this was a good choice of crossover pair

Meanwhile, I mostly spent the past week replaying some old PC games now that I’ve got a new computer with a fancy new graphics card! It’s been alright. In better news, work has begun on volume 3 of my own comic, Gamer Girl & Vixen! We’re gonna take a big swing with this new threequel and are very excited to make it happen. I love when the creative juices are flowing and I’m writing up a storm with ideas!

Comic Reviews: Absolute Batman #12, Amazing Spider-Man #12, Captain America #3 and Deadpool/Batman #1.

They’ve Remade Anaconda in the Best Way Possible

I’d heard rumblings of this Anaconda remake and now we’ve got an actual trailer, which looks pretty cool. Basically, Paul Rudd and Jack Black will get meta as fans of the original Anaconda movie who want to make their own version, only to wind up battling a giant snake themselves. It’s true! Watch the trailer and see!

Fun stuff. I dig it. I like Paul Rudd and Jack Black. The premise is just funny enough to be clever, to a degree. It appears to be a real movie. So this one is definitely now on my radar. I wonder if one of those lead actors came up with the idea for this movie and then just pulled the necessary strings to get it made. Maybe Jack Black knows the right people from his work on the Jumanji sequels.

Anaconda is coming to theaters around Christmas time.

Our First Look at the New Witcher

You know what, I’m probably going to watch the new season of The Witcher on Netflix when it comes out. I don’t really care that Henry Cavill left for creative differences. I don’t really care that the story is all over the place and I can’t remember what happened in the previous season. I don’t care that it differs from the video games. There’s still potential in the show.

The new Hemsworth lead looks the part. And there’s action and a wraith in that trailer. And I dunno…they’re gonna keep making it, I suppose I’ll keep watching.

But considering how popular that first season was, somebody really dropped the ball on The Witcher. This could have been a real hit! This coulda been a contender! And now it’s going to go out with the whimper of all whimpers.

The Witcher returns to Netflix for season 4 on Oct. 30.
