Various Trailer Friday!
Due to sheer laziness, I haven’t been posting as much as I probably should be these past few weeks. Just how I’m rolling these days, I guess. But I have been holding onto movie and TV trailers in case I ever do post more. And now I’m just gonna share a bunch, in case you haven’t seen them yet.
First up, this just came out yesterday, is a final trailer for A Knight of the Seven Kingdoms, the next Game of Thrones spin-off. This one looks good, I think.
I haven’t watched any of House of the Dragon. I’m not sure why. It’s supposed to be good. I just don’t have any interest in that corner of Westeros. But this one looks fun, following hedge knight Ser Duncan the Tall as he fumbles his way through being a knight, alongside his street urchin squire, Egg. Looks like a fun blend of comedy and heroic action.
A Knight of the Seven Kingdoms comes to HBO Max on Jan. 18.
Next up is a movie trailer for Ready or Not 2: Here I Come. The first film was a great horror comedy, and I can only hope the sequel is just as much fun.
Looks fun already! Kinda crappy that the main character gets immediately thrown into another death game. And I don’t quite think the escalation works as well as it could, given the story of the original, but I guess we’ll see. Let us hope for the best!
Ready or Not: Here I Come comes to theaters on April 10.
Another movie coming out next year is Project Hail Mary, from the same author who wrote The Martian. That’s a good sign. Be careful, there’s apparently a very big spoiler in the trailer that the studio has decided to just give away because it’s a major part of the movie anyway. I don’t mind being spoiled about this.
Yeah, this looks fun. It’s got the same love for science as The Martian, and seemingly the same sense of humor. Ryan Gosling is always fun. And it’s directed by Phil Lord and Christopher Miller, who have made some incredible films and probably can do no wrong.
Project: Hail Mary comes to theaters on March 20.
Lastly, it’s the next Pixar film, Hoppers, which looks about the same as any other recent Pixar film. They have really fallen from grace.
I haven’t even seen Elio, and I’m pretty sure it’s free for me to watch on Disney+. I just can’t be bothered. And I probably won’t be bothered with Hoppers. It’s no Mitchells vs the Machines! But it is coming out, and maybe some of you are into that sort of thing.
Hoppers comes to theaters on March 6.

More Fallout is Right Around the Corner
A new, fuller trailer for the second season of Fallout randomly arrived today and I’m excited to share. The first season was a dream of awesomeness and adaptation, and I’m so excited that the world has embraced this show.
Second season looks great! New Vegas! Deathclaw! Vaulties! All sorts of goodies and goodness and character development and progression. Really good look at everything to come. And we don’t have to wait long!
Fallout returns to Amazon Prime on Dec. 17.

Bat-Fam is Gonna Be Weird as Hell
Bat-Fam is a new Batman cartoon coming to Amazon Prime today. It’s a spin-off of the Merry Little Batman cartoon from a few years ago, which I didn’t watch. It’s about Batman as a dad, with little Damian Wayne as Batboy. It is what it is! And now it gets a whole cartoon with a whole wacky Batman family of characters, like Crazy Uncle Manbat.
Looks crazy. Looks weird as hell. But it also looks perfect? Like, I’m glad Batman cartoons are willing to go in this direction. Get weird with it. Get crazy. Get funny. Whatever you wanna do, go ahead and do it with Bat-Fam. Maybe I will give this one a watch.
Bat-Fam should already be available on Amazon Prime!

I’m Confident the Final Season of Stranger Things Will Deliver
We got a new trailer yesterday for the fifth and final season of Stranger Things, many years after the last season came out. People will complain about that, but not me. I’ve grown accustomed to having years pass between prestige TV seasons. It just is what it is, and one hopes they can simply stay alive to see the next season.
Anyway, here’s Stranger Things.
Looks great! It’s the final season, so they’re clearly just going for broke with all the monsters and super powers and this and that and huzzah! It doesn’t bother me in the slightest that the actors are old now. People age. It’s called suspension of disbelief. Come up with better jokes. I can’t wait to watch!
The final season will start on Thanksgiving, get a second part on Christmas and then have the finale on New Year’s Eve.

A Better Look at Plur1bus
Plur1bus is the next show from TV mastermind Vince Gilligan, the creative genius behind Breaking Bad and Better Call Saul. We got a teaser a few weeks ago, and now we’ve got a fuller trailer for the upcoming first season. It looks wild.
Looks wild, looks weird, looks to be pretty good. I don’t want to speculate on what’s happening, but this is a solid and intriguing trailer that will definitely have me checking out the show. Get on board now!
Plur1bus comes to AppleTV on Nov. 7.
