6 Cosmic Characters I Want to See in the Guardians of the Galaxy Game

Monday saw the announcement of an upcoming Guardians of the Galaxy video game. It’s going to be a single player action RPG where you take the movie-lite characters on an adventure through the cosmos. A bunch of cosmic Marvel characters appear in the trailer…and all of them are from the GotG movies.

Surely the game isn’t restricted to just the movies…right?

Everybody loves the movies!

Marvel has a bajillion and one cosmic characters out there in the universe. Surely this game has the rights to include more than just movie characters, right? The Square Enix Avengers game included the likes of Ms. Marvel and Kate Bishop, and they aren’t from the movies…though both have upcoming shows. Oh…oh god. The GotG game is only going to include movie characters. Cosmo, Mantis, Nova Corps, Collector…that’s all we’re going to get! Noooooooo!

Join me after the jump to relieve my disappointment with some awesome cosmic characters who I hope beyond hope get to show up in the Guardians of the Galaxy video game!

6 Weird Versions of Loki I Hope to See in the New TV Show

The Loki TV show debuted today on Disney+ and I’m very excited to watch. I’ve loved all of the Marvel Studios TV shows to date, and everyone is very pumped about Loki being the best yet. By all means, let’s hope for the best and enjoy the show!

Who is your TV show now?

Loki being Loki, and the nature of this show being weird as possible, means we might get some really weird Lokis along the way. How weird? I’m ready to get really weird. Because Loki is rarely just Loki in his comic book history. There are some really weird Lokis out there to enjoy. And I hope the new TV show finds a way to include a bunch of them, just to be as weird as possible. Will any of these happen? Maybe some. Should all of them happen? Heck yeah!

Join me after the jump for some weird and alternate versions of Loki that I hope pop up on his show!

6 Thoughts on the First Season of M.O.D.O.K.

As has been the case for some time now, we are living in a golden age of superhero entertainment. So much so that geeky fans like me can pick and choose which superhero stuff they watch and still enjoy a lot of it. And so much so that there now exists an animated cartoon comedy about M.O.D.O.K. This show exists. It’s real. And I watched it all in a weekend and loved it!

TV Rating: 9/10 – Great.

Announced only two years ago as part of some insane lineup of Marvel cartoons, M.O.D.O.K. is the only one that made it to air. No one will ever known exactly what the Tigra/Dazzler show was going to be like, but we can now safely say that M.O.D.O.K. is awesome! Driven by the wit and voice talents of comedian Patton Oswalt, M.O.D.O.K. is a darn fun show and can easily hold its giant head high in today’s wild TV landscape. This is a quality show.

Join me after the jump for my review and thoughts on the M.O.D.O.K. TV show, now available for streaming on Hulu. Expect FULL SPOILERS for the show. And feel free to share your own thoughts in the comments.

6 Things I Want to See in the Eternals Movie

The first trailer for Marvel’s Eternals movie came out this week and it was neat! Like all Marvel movies, I’m excited for Eternals coming out in November. But unlike all other Marvel movies, I have no idea what to expect. I’m a lifelong comic book fan, but even I don’t know all that much about the Eternals. I don’t know if I’ve ever even read an Eternals comic.

I know none of their names

Still, I have full faith in Marvel Studios and director Chloe Zhao to pull this off. Marvel knows how to make a great movie, and I’m confident they can make one out of Eternals. And if they haven’t finished already, I have my usual list of things I’d like to see in the movie. Though I’ll admit this list is probably a little sparse. I have no idea what to want or expect from an Eternals movie.

But let’s give it a shot anyway! Join me after the jump!

The 6 Funkiest Knock-Off M.O.D.O.K.s

Against all odds, the M.O.D.O.K. TV show arrives on Hulu this week! The only survivor of that wave of wacky Hulu shows Marvel TV announced a couple years ago, M.O.D.O.K. looks to be a fun and super-weird family comedy starring Patton Oswalt. It all sounds great to me! And to celebrate, we’re gonna look at some funky M.O.D.O.K.s!

Looks just like Patton Oswalt!

M.O.D.O.K. stands for “Mental Organism Designed Only for Killing”. He’s been around since the late 1960s, a creation of Stan Lee and Jack Kirby. And as you can see, he’s this giant head dude in a mechanized chair! Heck, he was the big bad villain in that recent failed Avengers video game. The dude has chops. He’s put in the work over the decades. And a new TV show starring him as a suburban dad sounds like the apex of his career!

Over the years, there have been a ton of knock-off M.O.D.O.K.s in comics. With an acronym for a name, it’s easy to come up with knock-offs. And we’re going to take a look at the best ones! Join me after the jump for some M.O.D.O.K. madness!
