Once Upon a Time, I Actually Liked Batman Forever
I was a big Robin fan even back then, plus I was young and stupid. I’d like to think I’m smarter now, but I do still love Robin.
Thankfully, we have Cinema Sins to take care of all our movie taunting now. I tried to rewatch Batman Forever a few years ago, because I still had fond-ish memories, but I couldn’t get through the first 5 minutes.

Gamer Girl & Vixen: Artist Power Up!
I’ve got a fun little artistic treat for everybody today: another finished page of Gamer Girl & Vixen #1! But this page is actually kind of special in that you’ve already seen it before, a long time ago. This is Page #11, the moment where the girls meet and decide, almost instantly, that they need to work together.
When we first started working on Gamer Girl & Vixen last fall, we had series artist Gemma Moody whip us up six preview pages from the middle of the book to pitch to comic book publishers. Well between that preview and her work on the current issue, Gemma really leveled up her skill and style!
Check out the differences between the original page from last fall and the new page that’s going in the comic!
Though I’m going to miss that cat…
The change is pretty dynamic! We hired Gemma for her awesome, adorable art in the first place, and she’s only gotten better! Gemma also colored both pictures, and she did the lettering in the original page. The new letters are done by Taylor Esposito, and the difference is astounding. Trust me, good lettering is worth the price.
The first issue of Gamer Girl & Vixen is almost done! We’re still gearing up for the Kickstarter next month, putting the finishing touches on our page and all our rewards. If you’d like to help out with promoting the comic and the Kickstarter, let me know in the comments. Any and all help will be very appreciated.

6 Things I Want to See in Daredevil Season 2
Good news, everybody! Marvel and Netflix have given the green light to a second season of Daredevil, due to hit our screens next year! After the huge success and popularity of the first season, everybody seems ready to jump right into more Daredevil without waiting for the Defenders to come and go. This is great news! There is so much more Daredevil goodness that we need to experience! So many more stories that can be told!

I’m already well into a second viewing of all 13 episodes. The show is just that much fun. And like any good comic book fan, my mind is racing with where the show can go in Season 2. Some ideas are more obvious — and definitely made my list — and some are just what I’d like to see going forward. So join me after the jump for six things I hope we get in the second season of Daredevil.

Should Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles Have Even Begun?
I don’t remember if I’ve gone on record or not, but I relatively enjoyed last year’s Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles movie – for what it was. It wasn’t a great movie by any means, it was just another in a long line of interesting TMNT adaptations. It’s not the defining take on the Turtles. There will be many more. Regardless, it’s fodder for all our favorite movie mocking Youtube videos!
How Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles should have ended.
Alas, they were so close in not including their Superman or Batman jokes. Maybe someday we’ll get a video from the HISHE people without those two…but considering a recent trailer, probably not. Personally, I’m looking forward to the sequel! It’s gonna have Bebop and Rocksteady!
