This is Some Good Joker Parody by SNL

I don’t watch Saturday Night Live, haven’t for at least a decade. But like most comedy these days, a lot of it shows up on YouTube the next morning. Such is life. Which is where I watched this funny Joker parody starring David Harbour as a gritty Oscar the Grouch!

That’s some good parody! I hope you enjoyed it as much as I did.

Sesame Street Does Stranger Things!

Sesame Street puts out a really sweet parody bit every couple of years. They’re fun, silly and just plain cool. One hopes the kids really appreciate the care and attention that goes into this Stranger Things parody. Or maybe it’s meant for Internet nerds like me.

Either way, it’s a delightful way to start a Monday. And all of that rhymed, so Sesame Street would approve!

Sesame Street for the Win!

For reasons that I should hope are obvious, I don’t watch Sesame Street. But I think it’s pretty clear we are dealing with intelligent people on that show. This isn’t just mind-numbing children’s garbage. This is quality entertainment! Plus it keeps my Avengers Week going!

Except for the part where it’s all about how vegetables are awesome. Still weird to see Cookie Monster fighting for vegetables. I understand that it’s more healthy, and that kids should eat vegetables, and that I wish I ate more vegetables as a kid…but it’s still weird.

Only four more days!

Congrats to Birdman, Here’s Big Birdman!

I freely admit to being one of ‘those people’ who don’t like awards shows. I don’t rub it in anybody’s face, but I can’t even remember the last time I watched an awards show, if ever. I just don’t care to celebrate celebrity like that, thank you very much. Besides, the winners are announced online the next morning, so I know that Birdman won best picture. I haven’t seen it yet, but now I suppose I should get around to that.

Speaking of Birdman, enjoy this parody, Big Birdman! It’s exactly as it sounds.

I love the Internet. And I love the Sesame Street is finding ways to go viral. They’ve got the Sesame Street muppets, potentially one of the greatest viral opportunities in the world!
