My 6 Favorite Force-Users in Star Wars
Don’t tell me how Star Wars: The Clone Wars ends, I haven’t seen it yet! I was waiting for the whole season to finish before watching the episodes for some insane reason. I don’t know why I did it this way. Because I missed out on being part of the excitement for what is apparently an amazing grand finale. I just make bad decisions sometimes.
Well, with all the big Star Wars talk these days, what with the end of Clone Wars, the announcement of a Taika Waititi film and Monday being Star Wars Day, I’ve decided to do up one of these Lists of Six about Star Wars! The problem is I’ve already got a bunch of Star Wars themed lists! So what’s a guy to do? How about listing my favorite Jedi? Or what about my favorite Sith? How about if I just combine them all so that I can have a fuller list? Let’s have fun with that!
And please feel free to share your own favorite Jedi, Sith and all the in-betweens in the comments!
Go for Papa Palpatine!
The cool dude behind Tell It Animated has tackled Emperor Palpatine for Star Wars Day, and I should have posted this yesterday! It’s another fun dive into the looks of one of Hollywood’s greatest villains!
I’ve never been much of a fan of Sidious, but I have grown increasingly curious about his early years. I guess there might be a novel or two out there that covers it. I would love to learn more about what he was like as a younger man. He seems pretty normal in The Phantom Menace. How did his Sith mentor find him before the Jedi’s regular Force-sensitive child searches? How did he take to Sith training to get where he is? Was he always into politics or did he get into them because his boss told him too? I think it would be really interesting!
Anyway, another great job by Tell It Animated!

A More Definitive Hench-Sized Ranking of the Marvel Cinematic Universe
If this were a better world, we’d all be watching Black Widow on the big screen this weekend. If this were a better world, I’d have a giant stack of new comics to read and review this weekend. If this were a better world, Best Buy would have the Nintendo Switch in stock. But it’s not a better world. It’s a coronavirus world.
So let’s pass the time by ranking all of the Marvel Cinematic Universe movies!
Way back in 2015, about halfway through the MCU as we know it today, I did my first ranking of all the Marvel movies. I’m still fairly happy with the list. But a lot has changed since then. Most specifically, the Infinity Saga came to an end! And now it’ll be more than a year between installments as Black Widow and Phase 4 have been pushed back to November.
So yeah, on this traditional Marvel movie release weekend, join me after the jump to see my personal ranking of all the MCU movies! Keep in mind, I’m a devoted fanboy and I love all these films, even the ones other people say are bad. They’re all great. I just like some more than others.
Keep in mind: this is not a ranking of the quality of the films. This is my personal love of the MCU. Expect full bias and preferential treatment.
I Am Ready for the End of She-Ra and the Princesses of Power
I am as surprised as the next person at how much I love She-Ra and the Princesses of Power. But it is a damn good show, one of my absolute favorites on all of Netflix. I am in love with how well-crafted, how well-adapted this show has been these past few years, with some truly glorious cartoon adventures.
The fifth and final season will be upon us in only a matter of days.
Oh man, that was a fun trailer! I loved the slow, somber remix of the theme song. I loved the anguish in the characters. This is gonna be a battle! This is gonna be a good finale! I have very high hopes!
The final season of She-Ra and the Princesses of Power arrives on May 15!

The Next Assassin’s Creed Game is Gonna Be Vikings!
Exciting video game news for once! The next game is going to be about vikings! Recently, we had Ancient Egypt followed by Ancient Greece, both of which were really fun games! So I am very, very excited about Assassin’s Creed: Valhalla.
I don’t know about you, but I have long since stopped caring about the Assassin’s Creed lore and mythology. They have started to, more and more, embrace the best part about their games: just really awesome historical adventure games! Nobody else is diving into history like AC. Stop worry about the bloodline and just make these great historical games!
The new game should be with us sometime towards the end of the year.
