These have been popping up as part of a project for Star Wars Kids and/or Galaxy of Adventures. Something like that. Suffice to say, they are radical as all heck!
Luke Skywalker vs. Darth Vader
Yoda vs. Count Dooku
Here’s hoping we get a bunch more of these. They’re just plain neat.
Some of you have probably seen these videos before, but I’ve been wanting to share them, because they’re a lot of fun. Basically, a rather creative chap named Michael at Belated Media has re-imagined the Star Wars prequels into a better, more entertaining movie trilogy. He keeps the same characters, general plot and themes, but does a much better job with the storytelling. He’s backed up by some great artwork by Jackie Whisler.
These are just one guy’s ideas, but creativity respects creativity.
I especially like what he has planned for Uncle Owen and Darth Maul. That’s some good thinking right there.
The arrival of Star Wars: The Force Awakens caused every single Youtube parody channel that I watch go into Star Wars overdrive. I tried my best to keep up and post the videos, in case you henchies come here to get your funny video fix. But I didn’t get around to everything.
So today sounds like a great day to get around to everything! Let’s start with Cinema Sins, and Everything Wrong with both Attack of the Clones and Revenge of the Sith!
Stay tuned throughout the day for even more videos! Prepare yourself for the marathon gauntlet of Star Wars mockery!
We’re only a few short weeks away from the premiere of Star Wars: The Force Awakens, and sure enough, all our favorite parody sites are getting in on the act! Honest Trailers knocked around A New Hope the other day, and now it’s time for the rest to start their no doubt massive preparations!
First up, here’s Everything Wrong With A New Hope.
And here is how Attack of the Clones should have ended!
Good times, people. We’re in for some quality comedic takedowns!
I don’t hate the Star Wars prequels. There, I said it. I’m not ashamed of it. I saw all three of them in the theaters and enjoyed the experience each time. Those movies have awesome lightsaber battles, cool spaceships, and they really flesh out the whole Jedi/Sith mythology.
I also don’t have any problem with Jar Jar Binks.
Everybody hates Jar Jar Binks. It’s fashionable to hate Jar Jar Binks. But you know what, I never have. I didn’t mind him in The Phantom Menace, and I don’t mind him now. Granted, I totally understand what people don’t like about him and the prequels. I get it, I really do. But me, personally? I don’t mind Jar Jar at all.
In fact, there are at least six occasions in the official Star Wars cannon where Jar Jar Binks is totally awesome! Don’t believe me? Join me after the jump!
