VisionQuest Looks Really Cool!
The next, and possibly last, Marvel Studios TV show on Disney+ is VisionQuest! It’s the final part of a trilogy that started with WandaVision, continued with Agatha All Along, and now involves the Vision dealing with family troubles. There’s a new trailer and it looks great!
Love that slow cover of House of the Rising Sun. I know those types of covers are used a lot, but I still love’em. So sue me. Anyway, this looks really neat! Paul Bettany and James Spader butting heads looks like super fun. The story of Vision finding his humanity is always a hoot. And it builds on the manufactured family from the first two shows with Tommy Shepherd. All looks good to me!
VisionQuest comes to Disney+ on Oct. 14.

Agatha All Along is Actually Happening
Once upon a time, Marvel Studios felt unbeatable, and they greenlit a Wandavision spin-off about Agatha Harkness. Kathryn Hahn and Aubrey Plaza are amazing, but can they make a good show out of this character? The first trailer sure looks witchy and spooky enough.
I think it looks alright. And I’ll definitely be watching. I still have all sorts of faith in Marvel and will gladly watch what they put out. So bring on Agatha Harkness! Give her all sorts of spooky fun adventures. Make it a good show! We’ll find out later this year.
Agatha All Along comes to Disney+ on Sept. 18.

6 Thoughts on The Marvels
The Marvels has arrived in theaters and the writing is on the wall: this one isn’t doing so hot. The critics haven’t cared for it, the box office is very disappointing and it’s not going to be a good ride, probably. But I don’t care about any of that. I very much enjoyed this film and had a good time at the theater!
Movie Rating: 8/10 – Very Good
I am an unrepentant Marvel fanboy. I have enjoyed pretty much all of the Marvel Cinematic Universe output, with probably Secret Invasion being the only stinker in my opinion. I was prepared for The Marvels to live up to all of the negative hype, but it was a blast! It was funny and entertaining, and well worth a short, breezy watch. I have never missed an MCU movie in the theater and I’m not about to start anytime soon.

The first episode of The Falcon and the Winter Soldier is now available on Disney+! I’ve heard good things. The critic reviews are very positive. I can’t wait to watch later tonight after work! Until then, how about the Honest Trailer for WandaVision? I told you these nifty online parodies were coming!
Good stuff! I also plan to watch Zack Snyder’s Justice League this weekend! I may or may not do a List of Six on my thoughts on the movie. As I recall, I enjoyed the Joss Whedon Justice League when I saw it in theaters…though I have no interest in it now.

6 Thoughts on WandaVision
WandaVision is over and the world may never be the same! After a year and a half, we finally have new Marvel content in our lives and I love how excited the world became for this TV show! None of us knew what to expect with Marvel Studios transitioning to television, but I think most of us are pleased as punch with the result.
TV Show Rating: 8/10 – Very Good.
It should come as no surprise that I loved WandaVision. I make no bones about the fact that I am a dedicated Marvel fanboy. I love their stuff, and I loved this new TV show. The performances were excellent. The use of characters was fun. And the main story, about grief and witchcraft, was a blast. This thing succeeded at everything it tried to do. I’ll admit it wasn’t perfect, but it was still very enjoyable and entertaining viewing. Obviously, I have thoughts.
