The Violent Night Sequel is Coming!
Violent Night was a great film David Harbour as Santa Claus kicking butt and taking names. What a hoot! And now it’s getting a sequel! Violent Night 2!
Looks like fun! Looks like some more violent action, which is what we want. And some charming humor. And a showdown in a mall. Makes sense to me. And Mrs. Claus looks like a hoot! I was initially concerned about the age gap…but it turns out they’re only, like, four years apart in age. Such is the state of ladies aging in Hollywood these days.
Violent Night 2 comes to theaters on Dec. 4.

6 Thoughts on Black Widow
At long last, after two years, we’ve finally got a major Marvel superhero movie in theaters! As an unapologetic Marvel fanboy, I was thrilled to see Black Widow on the big screen and enjoy another wonderful action film. And I’m very pleased to see the big box office numbers, meaning other people were just as happy to get out and watch Black Widow.
Movie Rating: 8/10 – Very Good.
I very much enjoyed Black Widow. I don’t really have any gripes or complaints or nitpicks. I know the online conversation around this movie has involved a lot of picks and nits here and there, but I am not one of those people. I enjoyed everything about this film. I don’t consider it one of Marvel’s all-time best or in the upper echelon of Marvel films. I just consider it another solid, enjoyable, well-made Marvel movie. And, honestly, I can feel a bit of that Marvel magic with this one. It’s hard to explain.

I don’t watch Saturday Night Live, haven’t for at least a decade. But like most comedy these days, a lot of it shows up on YouTube the next morning. Such is life. Which is where I watched this funny Joker parody starring David Harbour as a gritty Oscar the Grouch!
