Echo is Looking Pretty Fierce
Everybody thought Echo wasn’t going to be much of anything. Marvel is dropping all 5 episodes at the same time next Tuesday, and many took that as a sign that Marvel wanted to get rid of this show as soon as possible. But honestly, they’ve been doing a great job with promoting how badass Echo might be.
Check out this new trailer, which obviously focuses on Kingpin, but it’s still good.
And then we’ve got a behind-the-scenes featurette on how they incorporated Echo’s Native American heritage, which is cool.
I’m a fan of almost everything the MCU puts out, so I’m very much looking forward to binging Echo next week. Hopefully it lives up to the awesomeness of these promotional trailers. Keep the hope alive, everybody! Hold on to that feeling!
All 5 episodes of Echo come out on Disney+ on Tuesday, Jan. 9.

6 Thoughts on She-Hulk: Attorney at Law
I have a new favorite! She-Hulk: Attorney at Law has been getting a lot of flack for reasons that make no sense to me. This show was everything it said it would be and more, and everything I wanted it to be. Funny, charming, full of personality and perfectly built around a very fun main character. I want to see Tatiana Maslany and Jennifer Walters everywhere now.
TV Show Rating: 10/10 – Fantastic
Once upon a time, I didn’t think She-Hulk would work in the Marvel Cinematic Universe. I didn’t think the MCU Hulk could translate into a She-Hulk movie. Thankfully, the world changed and the Disney+ TV shows changed everything. The creative team behind She-Hulk: Attorney at Law used the TV format to perfection to bring this character and her unique perspective to life. I want production to start immediately on season 2!
Join me after the jump for my full thoughts and review of the first season of She-Hulk: Attorney at Law. Expect FULL SPOILERS. And feel free to share your own thoughts in the comments!

Marvel Studios returned to San Diego Comic Con for the first time in years last night, and they brought the power. They outline the ending of Phase 4 and all of Phase 5, with a hint at Phase 6 even, stretching out into 2025. It all looks pretty great to me!
Specifically, we got some great trailers. Like this first look at the next movie, Black Panther: Wakanda Forever.
That is a damn powerful trailer. I am perfectly fine with the idea of not casting the late Chadwick Boseman as T’Challa. It would have been very simple to just recast him and tell another story where Black Panther fights a new bad guy. But it’s a real creative challenge for everybody else to come together and come up with a great new story that pays respect to his death and legacy. I’m excited!
We also got a new trailer for She-Hulk: Attorney at Law. I’m excited for this show, and this trailer looks good.
Some of the CGI looks wonky still, and some looks better. The whole thing overall looks like a great watch. She-Hulk is a fun character, and I really want a procedural law show starring She-Hulk and a bunch of comic book stuff. Should be fun!
Those were the only trailers we got, though the people at Comic Con got some exclusive footage from a bunch of other projects. Good for them.
We got a few new projects revealed last night, all of which sound great.
Out of those, I’m definitely looking forward to what they end up doing with Thunderbolts. And new Avengers movies sound great to me! We have three whole years for them to put together a new Avengers team to star in Kang Dynasty and Secret Wars. And new Daredevil and Captain America stuff should be a hoot!
Marvel Studios had a great night at Comic-Con and I’m looking forward to all of these things! Gonna be a fun three years, as always.

6 Things I Want to See in a Revived Daredevil Show
Quite recently, the Hollywood trades confirmed the swirling rumors that Marvel Studios is going to bring back the Daredevil TV show that aired for three seasons on Netflix. They’re bringing back Charlie Cox as Daredevil and, if word is to be believed, it’s going to be something of a soft reboot. The first three seasons will still have happened, but the show will perhaps get a fresh coat of paint.
I am all in favor of this idea. I very much enjoyed the Daredevil show, and I’m super pleased at the idea of it coming back. Obviously Disney and Marvel can do whatever they want with the Daredevil brand/franchise, but if it ain’t broke, don’t fix it. That original show was pretty spectacular, and if courting the fans is something you’re keeping in mind, then definitely revive and refresh instead of reboot. It makes sense.
But what’s the new show going to have? Join me after the jump for six ideas I want to see as we move from old show to new. And feel free to share some of your own thoughts/hopes/dreams in the comments!
