I Will Remain Hopeful About Iron Fist Season 2
Iron Fist season 2 comes out the week of my birthday, so I’m assuming it’s Netflix’s gift to me. I was fine with season 1 and didn’t dislike it to the extent most people did, so I remain somewhat hopeful about season 2. I have also been largely disappointed in most of the Netflix Defenders shows at this point, but i remain somewhat hopeful about season 2.
All of this looks fine. Davos should make for a good villain, especially if they go full Steel Serpent with the guy. And the fight scenes are supposed to be improved.
Why they haven’t gone full Tournament of Heaven with this Iron Fist series is beyond me. Brubaker and Faction gave you a perfect Iron Fist story! Make it!

Have You Heard of Infinity Train?
I hadn’t heard of Infinity Train until Comic-Con this past weekend, when it got a new teaser. But apparently, it’s been around since at least late 2016, when a pilot short was hosted online through Cartoon Network. I don’t know how I missed this, but watch the whole thing, it is hilarious and just plain cool as heck!
Infinity Train is from Owen Dennis, who worked on Regular Show, which I’ve never seen. It’s about a girl, Tulip, stuck on a mystical train, where each car is something new and wild.
Here’s the new teaser from Comic-Con this past weekend.
Cartoon Network has promised a full show to come out some time next year! Consider yourself all on notice to watch it! Get hyped!

And Here’s a Bunch of SDCC TV Trailers!
San Diego Comic-Con keeps rolling along, and it keeps producing quick and easy trailers on YouTube that I can share! I love trailers, and I hope you do too, because here’s a bunch of them for upcoming TV shows!
First up, a full trailer for Disenchanted, the new cartoon from Matt Groening. It looks…OK. A lot of simple jokes. But I have faith. The show goes up on Netflix on Aug. 17.
Then there’s a trailer for the next season of Voltron, which looks awesome. I love this series and can’t wait to buy the Voltron LEGO set in a week! Hopefully I’ll have it in time to watch this new season on Aug. 10!
Then how about the new season of Young Justice. Looks pretty neat. I enjoyed the show the first time it was around, but wasn’t such a super fan that I’m foaming at the mouth over Outsiders. But hey, I’ll always take some nice DC animated superhero stuff.
Then we’ve got a new season of The Venture Bros. coming up. I love the show, but I continue to be annoyed at the release schedule. Every other animated show produces new episodes every year. What is it about The Venture Bros. that requires several years between seasons?
The new season starts Aug. 5.
Finally, here’s a glimpse at upcoming DuckTales episodes. Further fuel for my Disney Expanded Cartoon Universe hopes and dreams!
Oy vey, that was a lot of trailers. And I’m sure there will be more today! So keep tuning in to the madness as I try to keep up!

There Gets to Be Some Peace on The Walking Dead!
SDCC has revealed a big trailer for the new season of The Walking Dead — which I am watching, without regret. I still enjoy the show.
MAJOR COMIC BOOK SPOILERS BELOW THIS VIDEO.
SPOILERS
I am excited for this new season. I like the characters on The Walking Dead and I want them to have some happiness. So I’m very pleased to see that the new season will take after the comics.
In the comics, there is a 2-year time jump following the defeat of Negan, and Rick Grimes and his pals rebuild a little society. All the communities are working together. There’s peace. It’s awesome! I hope we get to see a lot of that in the new season, though clearly the show has some drama and conflict planned. I can live with that.
And the end of the trailer reveals that the next big threat, The Whisperers, are right around the corner. Not sure how the show will deal with them with Rick and Carl gone. But I have faith.
