Let’s Look at Wonder Woman, Animated
Your favorite internet animator and mine — Tell It Animated — is back with Wonder Woman! I love this dude’s videos and I love sharing them on my blog, to spread the word as far and wide as I can. This one is another corker.
Another great job! This guy has really found a nifty niche, and I hope he’s having fun and finding success!
As for what he should do next, a lot of people are requesting a King Kong video, but surely that’s not going to be very fun, right? Just a bunch of drawings of the same gorilla?
I suggest he do Robin! He’s already got a Batman video, so why not complete the Dynamic Duo? Robin was in just as many black and white serials as Batman back in the day, then you’ve got the 1960s TV show, the Chris O’Donnell Robin from the movies, the Robin costume from Batman v. Superman: Dawn of Justice and now the various Robin/Nightwing costumes on the live action Titans. Sounds like a good video to me!

Hench-Sized Comic Book Reviews – 2/27/21
And so we’ve come to another week of new comic book releases and new comic book reviews! Gotta love it! Some solid comics this week, from X-Men to the last gasps of Future State.
Comic Book of the Week goes to Future State: Dark Detective #4 for a very strong ending to this fun little mini-series. I felt this one really captured what Future State seemed to be about.
Meanwhile, I’ve dropped U.S. Agent because it’s getting to be too much of a mish-mash for me. I don’t think I fully understand or appreciate what’s going on in that comic, and I’d rather let it go than try to hold on and badmouth it just because I don’t get it.

Hench-Sized Comic Book Reviews – 2/20/21
Oh what a world! We are on the verge of ending Future State at DC Comics and also on the verge of starting Heroes Reborn at Marvel! Will I read anything of Heroes Reborn? Maybe! I like the look of things, but Future State really burned me. So we’ll see. At least we’ve got good normal comics, like Iron Man, Iron Fist, Power Rangers and more!
Comic Book of the Week goes to Thor #12 for another stellar, crazy issue of this weird new storyline. And for an epic Throg battle, the likes of which we just don’t get to see very often.
Meanwhile, another stellar WandaVision! And another fun bout of Ghost of Tsushima for me! I’m doing pretty OK with entertainment these days, and that’s saying something.
Comic Reviews: Future State: The Next Batman #4, Iron Fist: Heart of the Dragon #2, Iron Man #6, Marauders #18, Power Rangers #4 and Thor #12.

There’s going to be an Invincible cartoon, based on Robert Kirkman’s popular comic book series! We knew that already, but now we’ve got a full-sized trailer! And a premiere date!
Looks great! I’m about a third of the way through reading Invincible, and it’s really good. I splurged on all three mega compendiums last summer and need to start the second one. Invincible is good stuff. It’s really just a big, fun, casually-paced superhero tale with a ton of characters and a ton of world-building. The cartoon is barely going to scratch the surface of the beginning of the story, but hopefully it gets as many seasons as The Walking Dead!
Invincible arrives on Amazon Prime Video on March 26.

Hench-Sized Comic Book Reviews – 2/13/21
I think I’m relatively done with Future State. I gave it the old college try. I read a bunch of Future State comics. Some of them are even very good. But the deluge of comics to read and the largely mediocre stories has broken me. I just don’t care anymore. That being said, I’m definitely going to check out a bunch of Infinite Frontier comics spinning out of Future State, like the continuing adventures of Next Batman and Yara Flor!
Comic Book of the Week goes, once again, to the new issue of Mighty Morphin. It’s maybe not as dramatic as previous issues, but we finally get the reveal of the new Green Ranger! And it’s everything I could have hoped for!
Meanwhile, I’ve been playing Ghost of Tsushima and it’s phenomenal! I love a big, open sandbox game and this is right up there are one of the best. Definitely one of the best looking, that’s for sure.
