The Harley Quinn Cartoon Still Looks Amazing!
Comic-Con gave us a bigger, better and more awesome trailer for the upcoming Harley Quinn cartoon, and it looks phenomenal!
This show looks cool on levels I didn’t even expect. I’m loving the voices. I’m loving the bits of humor we get. I’m loving the Kite Man cameo. I especially love the hint we get at a Harley/Poison Ivy relationship. It’s 2019, they damn well better go full speed ahead into that whole awesomeness.
The show is coming to the DC streaming service later this year, I think.

My Disney Dream is Alive and Flourishing!
I am a big fan of the DuckTales revival cartoon. I am an especially big fan of the Expanded Disney Cartoon Universe the showrunners seem to be building. I was worried when they made Darkwing Duck a TV show instead of a superhero…but the most recent episode reversed course, introducing Drake Mallard and making him a real superhero inspired by the show.
Well guess what, folks: all my dreams are coming true! Announced at Comic-Con, there’s going to be a whole party bus full of characters joining the fun!

A lot of them appear on my list of characters I wanted to see on DuckTales.
Let’s run them down:
We’ve got Daisy Duck!
Goofy!
Chip & Dale’s Rescue Rangers!
TaleSpin is confirmed there in the upper right corner. Only we’re getting Kit Cloudkicker and Molly Cunningham as older characters than their young selves from the original. That could be neat.
Darkwing Duck is coming back, and alongside him is a new Gosalyn!
Bubba the Caveduck!
Gene the Genie!
And it’s hard to make out in the upper right, but to the left of Bubba is a more realistic looking Butterbear the Wuzzle! The Wuzzles are coming!
So yeah, essentially everything I want from the DuckTales cartoon is coming true. Check out Entertainment Weekly for some close-up shots of some of the characters. And this Reddit thread for even more.
You can also check out this nifty trailer, though not all the characters are featured.
This is turning out to be a very fun Comic-Con for me and all my geeky hopes and dreams!

The Witcher TV Show and the Steven Universe TV Movie Look Great!
Finally we arrive at some Comic-Con trailers I actually care about! First up is The Witcher TV show coming to Netflix. Like most people, I am a huge fan of The Witcher video games, with The Witcher 3 being one of the greatest, most in-depth I have ever played. But the show is going to be based on the books, which I have no tread.
At least Henry Cavill looks better in motion than he did in the early photographs. This show could have all the goodness!
Next up is a Steven Universe made-for-TV movie, which looks awesome! And it delivers the one thing I want most from Steven Universe: letting him grow up. Steven is a such a great character that it annoys me that he was forced to stay kid-like. They had an episode explaining that his body just didn’t age like a normal person. That is so weird and lame.
Steven is a character that I want to see grow up. Steven’s growing maturity was the best part of the show, and I want that taken to normal, natural levels. But if you go much further, he’ll be an adult in a weird kid body, and that’s just weird. Movie trailer looks good, though.

Stranger Things as a 1980s Anime!
The internet is full of wonderfully creative people. Take, for example, Octopie, who released this bitchin’ animated short showing Stranger Things as an old anime!
Looks fantastic! That’s real talent and skill!
I enjoyed the third season of Stranger Things, though I think they’ve lost the creative spark that made the first season so memorable. Now it’s more like comfort food TV. They haven’t done anything nearly as creative or as original as that thing with the Christmas lights and the letters. Now it’s just a happy good time hanging out with all of our favorite characters. Still enjoyable!

Godzilla Has Had More Makeovers Than I Thought
The Tell It Animated guy has finally gotten around to doing Godzilla! He missed the release of Godzilla: King of the Monsters a couple weeks ago, but we won’t hold that against him! We’re not the evil YouTube algorithm! We just enjoy some good Godzilla!
King of the Monsters was a fun movie! And Tell It Animated is a great channel! I don’t know who they could do next…Iron Man would be fun, considering all of the armors we saw on screen throughout the MCU. He could also do the Incredible Hulk…oh no wait, he already did. Did Ghostface Killer from Scream have different looks?
