Centaurworld and He-Man Are Coming Back!
I am a big fan of cartoons. And we live in a day and age where there are just a metric ton of fun new cartoons coming out every day. I recently finished the first season of Inside Job on Netflix. Have you heard of that one? I’m pretty sure it flew entirely under the radar. But I watched both that and Chicago Party Aunt this fall, both of which are pretty watchable. We are surely living in a post-Rick and Morty cartoon world.
At any rate, all of this build up is to share two fun trailers for upcoming second seasons. First up is Masters of the Universe: Revelations, the follow up to that apparently controversial first season, because the internet breeds nothing but contempt. I liked the first season, and I look forward to the second.
For one thing, that trailer had an appropriate amount of Ram-Man. Season 2 arrives on Nov. 23, so basically a week from now. That’s pretty cool!
Second, we’ve got the trailer for the second season of Centaurworld, which is great, because I didn’t know it was getting a second season. Centaurworld flew so far under the radar that I was really excited about watching it…and yet I still forgot it existed for at least two months. But then I did watch it and I did enjoy it!
Centaurworld season 2 arrives on Dec. 7! So you’ve got plenty of time to watch the first season to be all caught up. We’ve got some great cartoons and shows ahead of us through the end of the year!

Let’s All Remember The Ultimate Showdown of Ultimate Destiny
The Ultimate Showdown of Ultimate Destiny is one of the greatest internet artifacts of all time. It’s a true masterpiece. And then randomly the other day, I was browsing YouTube and stumbled upon this cover version, in which a bunch of creative artists have teamed up to make a new version!
And it’s great! That song will always be marvelous, and I love the new animations. I’m so glad I randomly found this thing in all its wonderful thingness. And I hope you enjoyed it as well!

This Lightyear Movie Looks Crazy Good
So Disney and Pixar are making a new movie about Buzz Lightyear as if it was the real ‘person’ and not the toy from Toy Story. The idea is wild, but I’m open to whatever. And this teaser trailer strikes a really great note.
Or I might just be rocking on some great David Bowie.
Will the tone of the movie be more like this song cover or will it be a wacky, space hero adventure? Probably more of the later. But in terms of a really good, really evocative trailer, I really love this one. It’s striking, it’s a little haunting. And that’s a really interesting take on this whole idea. So cool beans!
Lightyear is coming next summer.

An Even Better Look at Hit-Monkey
The Hit-Monkey cartoon is still coming out on Hulu in less than a month, and we have kindly been gifted yet another trailer. It reveals a lot more than that first teaser trailer, so that’s cool. I still think this cartoon looks weird as heck, but a lot of good people spent a lot of good time working on it. So you best believe I’m gonna watch!
This looks so weird and so neat. Did Hit-Monkey have a ghost partner in the comics? Or did the cartoon makers realize they needed somebody to actually talk instead of a purely silent protagonist the whole time? Do you think Hit-Monkey will talk in this cartoon? Maybe just between him and the ghost?
We’re all gonna find out on Nov. 17 when Hit-Monkey comes to Hulu!

There’s More Harley Quinn Coming As Well!
DC Fandome had a ton of great trailers and behind-the-scenes looks, and I posted them all this weekend. All except for the teaser for Harley Quinn season 3! I am very much looking forward to more of the excellent Harley Quinn cartoon, so let’s check out some animatic teases!

We don’t have a release date or finished animation, as explained in the video. That’s fine. It will come when it comes. Meanwhile, there’s a tie-in comic currently coming out from DC, also called the “Eat, Bang, Kill Tour”. It’s fun so far, with some truly amazing artwork! And the lettering is by Gamer Girl & Vixen letterer Taylor Esposito! So check it out!
