I Should Just Devote Every Monday to Cinema Sins
Ever have trouble finding new videos to share on your blog? That’s me sometimes, and this Monday is a little light on content! Part of me wants to try and start making my own videos – I have at least one good idea – but the rest of the Internet is just so much better at it!
Like Cinema Sins! They’re super reliable.
All totally legit gripes with Kingsman: The Secret Service. I liked the film, saw it recently. Good, quality action flick with a lot of charm and wit. So good times indeed.

Hench-Sized Comic Book Reviews – 8/8/15
For some odd reason, this was another light week for comics for me. But this time, rather than focusing on DC Comics, it’s Marvel with the two books out that I actually read. Weird. But hey, less work for me to do to review! That’s got to count for something.
Along with the latest issue of Bloodshot Reborn from Valiant Comics, Marvel drops the fun-two punch of Darth Vader and Ms. Marvel, the latter of which easily snags Comic Book of the Week. The fun, touching story of Kamala Khan teaming up with her namesake easily defeats the Dark Lord of the Sith.
Over at Word of the Nerd, I read and reviewed the third issue of Giant-Size Little Marvel: AvX, and it was a blast! Skottie Young is just having a lot of fun with his tie-in, which is probably the most appropriate way to reference Avengers vs. X-Men from now on.
Comic Reviews: Bloodshot Reborn #5, Darth Vader #8 and Ms. Marvel #17.
Fantastic Four Getting Eviscerated All Up In This Place!
Reviews are pouring in for the new Fantastic Four movie, and they’re not good. Looks like the film is probably as bad as we all assumed it would be. I haven’t seen it yet, and I’m not sure if I’ll have the time this weekend. But man, how disappointing.
Of course, let’s not forget how terrible the first Fantastic Four movies were!
Thanks, Screen Junkies, we all needed that reminder. And let us never forget that ‘Hemi’ line in the second one. Ugh.
Let’s hope this film is the final nail in the coffin for Fox’s Fantastic Four plans — although we all know it probably won’t be. Like they care at all about the sanctity of the franchise. They probably hate Marvel as much as Marvel hates them. I can see Fox holding on to the movie rights out of pure spite at this point. They did announce a sequel already, I highly doubt they’re going to cancel.
Ah well. Such is life.

Announcing World of Warcraft: Legion!
The new expansion is World of Warcraft: Legion! When the Tomb of Sargeras is opened, the Burning Legion invades Azeroth with armies of demons! No new races, like I’d hoped, but there’s a new Demon Hunter hero class! And a bigger focus on classes, including iconic weaponry.
Check out this pretty cool announcement trailer!
Looks pretty neat. Everybody loves fighting demons!
You can read a ton of info at the World of Warcraft website. They’ve got a whole shebang to show off about the new classes, weapons and fancy pants stuff!
I’m not quite sure if this is going to be enough to get me back into the game. I put out a whole list this week of what I wanted to see in the next expansion, and I don’t think I really get anything that I want! But hey, any new adventure is cause for fun, right? This Demon Hunter hero class could be cool, and it’ll give me something to do with the Night Elves, finally.
Overall, I’m still not sure. I think I’ll let this announcement sink in and see where I am in a few weeks. I’ll still need to buy and play through Warlords of Draenor, and this game won’t be coming out for at least a year, probably. So I’ve got time to think, save money and possibly even finally cure myself of this maddening addiction!
But a Night Elf Demon Hunter is starting to sound pretty cool…

Kid Flash is Going To Be On The Flash TV Show!
I guess the rumors have been circulating, and now we know for sure: Kid Flash will be part of The Flash in season 2! Actor Keiynan Lonsdale has been cast as Wally West! I don’t know if they’ve confirmed that he’ll become the Flash’s sidekick, but he’s gotta, right? If The Flash is willing to do both Reverse Flash and Gorilla Grodd, they’re definitely going to do Kid Flash!
This is pretty exciting news, because as you all know, I love sidekicks. I especially like Wally West as Kid Flash – though I’ll admit that I have no experience with him in the New 52, and I have a feeling that the show will portray a more New 52-ish Wally than the classic comic book Wally. Or maybe they’ll go old school origin and character with new school look. Who knows!
Of course, astute readers with good memories will recall that keeping Kid Flash out of the series was #1 on my list of things I wanted to see on the Flash TV show. But seeing how awesome the first season was, and how eager they were to really delve into stuff from the comics, I’ve changed my mind! Bring on Wally! Bring on Kid Flash! Bring on Season 2!
