Star Wars by Way of Gamer Girl & Vixen!
Sorry gang, my review is not done yet! Blame my boss, who expects me to focus on my job during the day. Pfff, nuts to that. But to continue to hold us all over, superstar artist Gemma Moody drew up this awesome pictures of my comic book characters, Gamer Girl & Vixen, in Star Wars costumes!
I can’t help but be biased towards my comic and my artist. Both are such a fun part of my life now. If you want to make comics and haven’t started yet, don’t wait! Get to writing and creating, henchies!
Speaking of which, for those interested, my next major project, Forever Blue is going up for another peer review this weekend. I’ll share it when it goes live!

Star Wars Bad Lip Reading to Tide Us Over
I’m working on my review of Star Wars: The Force Awakens, but first there’s this little thing called work I have to deal with. I know, right? So while I’m dealing with that, and trying to find time to work on my review, I figured I’d start us all off with a funny Bad Lip Reading of Star Wars: A New Hope.
See? We can still have fun here. I’m going to try to get my review up sometime this afternoon, so stay tuned!

In Defense of Ewoks
With the entire world thinking about Star Wars today, I’ve decided to get in on the act with a rather controversial statement:
I like the Ewoks in Star Wars: Return of the Jedi.
The cute, cuddly little teddy bear guys who aid the Rebel Alliance in defeating the Empire on the forest moon of Endor and blowing up the second Death Star. Most people seem to hate the Ewoks and everything they represent, but not me. I like the Ewoks just fine, thank you very much.
I think I understand where the hatred comes from. For one thing, it’s a bunch of little teddy bears fighting and defeating the mighty Empire. People don’t like that. There’s also the fact that the Ewoks were clearly created to sell toys. Star Wars is built on merchandise, and by the time the third movie came around, George Lucas knew exactly what he was doing.
But I don’t care about either of those things. They don’t bother me at all. And in defense of the Ewoks, I figure I’ll tell you why.

6 Weirdest Jedi (That You May Recognize)
A little movie called Star Wars debuts tomorrow, a moment that the entire world has been waiting decades for. I’ll be in line at the first possible showing here in my town, and I hope to have a review up on Friday. I hope it’s good. I’ll probably like it, regardless. This is a pretty exciting week.
So let’s talk about weird Jedi!
Last week, I focused a lot on the utter coolness of wookiee Jedi, as if Chewbacca had picked up a lightsaber. But wookiees are not the only recognizable Star Wars aliens to become Jedi in the great, expansive Star Wars Universe. Considering the fact that every single nook and cranny of Star Wars has been mapped, it should come as no surprise that writers and artists picked nearly every single iconic alien and turned them into a Jedi somewhere along the line.
Join me after the jump to continue the Star Wars celebration, and check out six of the weirdest Jedi to ever wield the Force!
There Are Apparently Lots of Things Wrong With The Phantom Menace
