Here’s a Nifty Trailer for Wonder Man
The next Marvel Studios project to come out will be the Wonder Man TV show at the end of this month, and I’m excited. I have not given up on the MCU and I think this show looks neat. I think it’s going in a fun, weird direction, one that is perfectly captured in this new trailer that came out this week.
Looks good to me! I like a good trailer, one with some nifty editing and real style. We get a bit more of an understanding to Simon Williams in this one, from his powers to his career to everything else. And I’m fully on board! I wanna see the MCU tackle the very idea of Hollywood superhero fatigue. And it looks quirky and funny, which I also enjoy. So I’m here for all of this!
Wonder Man premieres on Disney+ on Jan. 27.

My 6 Favorite Things of 2025
2025 was a horrible year. I had to buy both a new car and a new computer, both of which I’m still paying off. The world went even more to shit. I’m discovering in real time that my new landlord isn’t going to spring for plowing the snow out of my driveway. Marvel movies are doing poorly at the box office. And Grand Theft Auto VI was delayed until next year, if we’re lucky.
So boo on 2025!
But one thing I like to do every year is a roundup of my favorite bits and pieces of pop culture from the past year. My favorite movies, TV shows, comics and more. Why not? Every website does this at this time of year. Why not try to lift my own spirits with writing about my favorite things? And keep in mind, this is not a list of the best media, it’s my own personal list of favorites from the past year. Your mileage may vary.
Read the rest of this entryNow We’ve Got a Thor-Based Teaser for Avengers: Doomsday
Alright, I see what’s happening here. We got a Captain America teaser trailer for Avengers: Doomsday last week. Now we’ve got one for Thor. Check it out. It’s brief and doesn’t spoil anything…other than Thor being in Avengers: Doomsday.
So both trailers end with XXXX will return in Avengers: Doomsday, playing on that familiar coda from a lot of Marvel movies that declared so-and-so character would return. So perhaps we’re going to get a whole series of these short teasers? Teasing a bunch of characters showing up? Now that I can get behind! I was very lukewarm about the Cap trailer last week, and this Thor one doesn’t build much hype for the movie. But a series of ‘Will Return’ trailers could be pretty fun!
Avengers: Doomsday comes to theaters a year from now on Dec. 18.

For Christmas This Year, an Underwhelming Avengers: Doomsday Teaser
I’m still a very big Marvel Studios and MCU guy. I’ve seen it all and loved 99% of it, even all this post-Endgame stuff that the internet loves to hate. So I’m very much looking forward to Avengers: Doomsday a year from now. But hooboy, this first teaser trailer is a stinker.
Don’t watch if you don’t want any spoilers.
Basically, all this teaser trailer does is reveal one specific character who will be appearing in the movie. And I don’t really care. We know the movie is gonna feature everybody — that’s half the point of the movie. But there could have been so much else to see in a proper first teaser. Not even a better glimpse of Doctor Doom? Nothing? Just that one guy?
What a bummer for this holiday season.
Anyway, this is my last post until next week because I’ll be off on an extended family Christmas weekend! Merry Christmas everybody, and Happy Holidays!

The First Odyssey Trailer is Here!
The first teaser trailer for The Odyssey by Christopher Nolan has arrived on the internet and now arrived on my blog, shared with everybody who wants to see it. Looks pretty fancy.
Apparently, the movie is getting a ton of hate online for not having period-accurate costumes, to which I say I don’t care. Not in the least. Oh my god, I do not care. All I care about is whether or not it’s a good movie. Hard to tell from his trailer. Seems a little too self-serious to me. But I trust Christopher Nolan to make a good movie and to make a big, epic movie, so you’re darn right I’m going to watch.
The Odyssey comes to theaters on July 17.
