First Look at Luke Cage Season 2!

The next season of Luke Cage comes out on June 22! That’s not too far into the future! And we’ve got Jessica Jones at the end of the week! So things are pretty good, I’d say, for Netflix Marvel shows.

Here’s hoping Jessica and Luke can make up for Danny and the Defenders…

I wonder who the villain is going to be…

Here’s a Fun Oscars Song!

Do you love The Lonely Island? I like’em just fine! And they’ve made an Oscars song that stars Thor and Wonder Woman! That’s pretty fancy and I’m glad we all get to enjoy it!

As for the Oscars themselves, I’m glad Shape of Water won. I think it was my favorite movie out of the nominees I saw, though I felt Get Out should have won, as it was the better movie. At the very least, I’m glad Phantom Thread didn’t win, because I didn’t see it, and I was convinced that they’d pick some artsy movie I didn’t see.

Weird Al Does Alexander Hamilton!

This popped up late last week and is just delightful! Weird Al compiles the Alexander Hamilton songs into a polka! Because that’s the world we live in and it can sometimes be amazing!

And I find it a good way to start a Monday and a week.

Hench-Sized Comic Book Reviews – 3/3/18

I’m still over the moon that we’re getting a new Multiple Man comic book. I don’t know much about this Matthew Rosenberg fella, and I’m slightly disappointed that it isn’t me writing the new Multiple Man comic, but you’re can be darn sure I’m going to read it all! And review it right here!

Some pretty solid comics this week, from Detective Comics to Batgirl to a couple more of DC’s new titles. I’d been waiting to check out The Terrifics and it did not disappoint. But Comic Book of the Week goes to All-New Wolverine for a delightfully funny done-in-one issue.

Comics are awesome

Speaking of new comics, Marvel has officially announced Nick Spencer as taking over Amazing Spider-Man. I don’t have anything to do with the guy’s Twitter feed or whatever brouhaha erupted during Secret Empire, but I really liked his Ant-Man and Superior Foes comics, so I’m definitely on board for his Amazing Spider-Man.

Comic Reviews: All-New Wolverine #31, Batgirl #20, Detective Comics #975, The Silencer #2 and The Terrifics #1.

Wreck-It Ralph 2 Has a Full Trailer!

For some reason, the upcoming sequel Ralph Breaks the Internet is not called ‘Ralph Wrecks the Internet’. How did this title make it through quality control at Disney?

Hopefully somebody got fired over that screw up.

Also, trailer looks cool! A little wildly huge, but I’m sure they have a solid, contained story. I loved the original Wreck-It Ralph and can’t wait for the sequel!
