We Got An Andor Season 2 Trailer, Baby!

The second season of Andor is apparently right around the corner! We knew it was coming. The hype is real. Season 1 was a friggin’ masterpiece, and season 2 will have a lot to do. So how about we settle in and enjoy this new trailer?

Looks great! Love the song choice. Love the look of everybody. Love the snippets of dialogue. This one is gonna be good, people. We’re gonna be feasting on good TV this year. Daredevil: Born Again starts next week. We’ve got the second season of The Last of Us coming out soon, too. And now Andor at the end of April. Hot damn!

Andor season 2 comes to Disney+ on April 22.

There’s Gonna be More Twisted Metal!

I write this to you in the middle of a snowstorm, which is coming already on top of the worst winter the northeast has had in some years. So yeah, jeez. And through all of this storm, I’ve still got to buy a new car. Life is fine.

But at least we’ve got a trailer for a second season of Twisted Metal! And starring the man of the hour, Anthony Mackie!

I very much enjoyed the first season of Twisted Metal. It was a fun, silly show that had great action and took itself the right balance of silly and serious. And season two looks like it’ll be even more fun!

Also, we are not getting more Twisted Metal the game, if that’s what you thought my headline meant…sorry.

Also also, I really liked Mackie in the new Captain America film! I may or may not have a review up this week, depending on how this snowstorm goes.

Twisted Metal will return to Peacock this summer.

Now is Tom Green’s Time

Do you remember Tom Green? That wild and wacky comedian from…I wanna say the 90s? I was never a big Tom Green guy, because I definitely wasn’t cool enough to watch MTV when I was a teen. But I was fully aware of him. Who wasn’t at the time?

Anyway, seemingly at random yesterday, I stumbled upon all the trailers for, like, three different Tom Green projects coming to Amazon Prime. You’d think one would be enough, but nope…three. Which actually kind of fits with his humor, I think.

There’s a new documentary: This is the Tom Green Documentary.

Then there’s a series based around the same facts as the documentary, called Tom Green Country.

And then he seems to be doing a new stand-up special about his life in the country, Tom Green: I Got a Mule!

So if you were a big Tom Green fan or were wondering whatever happened to him, you’re going to have more than enough viewing options over the next few weeks, it would seem. I might actually watch some of these. They look pretty fun.

Daredevil: Born Again is Coming Soon!

Daredevil: Born Again is coming to Disney+ on March 4! And that’s according to it’s first official trailer, which arrived yesterday! Don’t read this, watch the trailer!

This looks super exciting. Just like everybody else, I’m very much loving the idea of bringing back the Netflix Daredevil show with more seasons. Charlie Cox and his pals are just so perfect as the Daredevil cast, and his few appearances in Spider-Man and She-Hulk have only whet the whistle. We need him back for reals!

Hopefully Born Again lives up to all the hype. The fans know exactly what they want, and surely Disney can’t be oblivious to that. And while you can’t always just give fans what they want…this is an expensive TV show we’re talking about, with a lot of the MCU’s future hanging on its success. Are Disney and Marvel going to do right by the fans? Or are they going to change things in an attempt to be different?

We’ll find out when Daredevil: Born Again comes to Disney+ on March 4!

My 6 Most Anticipated Pop Cultures for 2025

We’re deep into January now, which means this article is pretty late — but also not so late that some of these things have come to pass yet. They’re still in our future, so it’s still safe to talk about them like that.

As I become a bitter old man, all I really have let to cling to are pop cultures like video games, TV shows and movies. And 2025 promises to be a very good year for content, in a world that relies on more and more content. So let’s talk about them for the year ahead!

And feel free to share your own anticipated pop cultures in the comments below!
