New Spider-Man Cast! On This Totally Random Tuesday!
Our new Marvel Cinematic Universe Spider-Man is going to be Tom Holland! I’ve never heard of him, but apparently he’s appeared in The Impossible and Wolf Hall, which I assume are movies!
The next Spider-Man movie is also going to be directed by a guy named Jon Watts, who has worked on almost nothing! He’s got a movie, Cop Car, coming out soon. Maybe Marvel saw a preview and liked it? Or maybe they saw his credits working on The Onion News Network? I don’t know.
I just find it very curious that this casting was announced today, a random Tuesday at the end of June.
It’s not like anything else important was happening today…possibly involving Marvel’s biggest competitor…

I’m Not Sure Why the Ant-Man Movie Doesn’t Do More With Its Dad Angle
Ant-Man is a single father, and that’s pretty rare when it comes to these superhero movies. I’m not sure why Marvel aren’t focusing on that a bit more in the marketing.
Possibly because they just want to focus on the action and humor? Does that stand a better chance of getting butts into seats? Maybe! But Cassie Lang looks adorable in this movie.
Happy Father’s Day, too!

Did You Hear They’re Making a Third Kung Fu Panda?
I like the Kung Fu Panda series. I like the first movie, I like the second movie, and I’m jazzed for a third movie. What’s not to love? They’re fun and funny films, with a really likable cast and great moments. That ‘there is no secret ingredient’ moment at the end of the first movie is phenomenal, as is the cannonball sequence at the end of the second. Just gorgeous.
So what will the third movie bring?
Bryan Cranston!
Though I’m a little confused why Kung Fu Panda 3 would come out in January. That’s a movie dead zone. Do they not have any faith in this movie? Is the Kung Fu Panda series not a tentpole franchise? Or is Hollywood trying to make January movies a thing now?
Also, if you’re so interested, a Chinese trailer was also released which shows a ton more footage, some of it pretty amazing. Bryan Cranston is great, and all, but check out the action in this trailer.
Now that’s a Kung Fu Panda movie!

How Age of Ultron Should Have Ended
Anybody else feel like the world has just forgotten about Age of Ultron? It was this hugely hyped film two months ago, but now it’s an afterthought. Oh well, the How It Should Have Ended people still have some fun with it! In 2 parts!
Got some legitimately good humor in them too. That’s always a plus with these videos.

That Animated Peanuts Movie Still Doesn’t Look Half Bad
I’m still not totally convinced this is a good idea or is going to result in anything great. But this full-length trailer is pretty nice.
I do like the idea that the writers are focusing on the Little Redheaded Girl for the main plot. That’s kind of nifty. And the animation looks pretty cool, I’ll give it that. Let’s all just keep kind of hoping that The Peanuts Movie turns out pretty good.
Also, why not called it Peanuts: The Motion Picture? Somebody needs to bring that back…
