Jessica Jones Arrives Today!
In case you needed to be reminded, the new Jessica Jones TV show finally arrives on Netflix today! In fact, it’s available right now! Unfortunately, schmucks like me have to go to work. But you darn well better believe I’ll be binging the show as soon as I get out and through the weekend!
To hold us over, here’s the radical and nifty opening title sequence!
I’m so excited for this show! Word has it it’s just as good as we all hope. This is going to be a great weekend!

Let’s All Get Honest About Star Wars for a Second
All of the great Internet movie parody groups — from Honest Trailers to Cinema Sins — have about a month left to do all of the Star Wars movies in the build-up to The Force Awakens. The Screen Junkies kicked things off this week with the Honest Trailer for A New Hope!
It’s amazing anytime somebody can find something new to say about Star Wars, but such is the power and awesomeness of the movies. But the most important thing is that we’re less than a month away from The Force Awakens!

Stingray is Back in the Saddle!
When it comes to comic books, I’m a very character-focused guy. I read the titles that my favorite characters appear in. Simple as that. And when one of my obscure favorites pops up in a random place, I celebrate a little inside.
Case in point, it seems that Stingray is going to join Deadpool’s team of mercs in February! It’s not exactly his usual sort of thing, but when you’re as obscure as Stingray, you take what you can get.
I don’t know what the comic will be about, but I bet it will be humorous. And Stingray might even have a new, more technologically-advanced design to his costume! Looks like I might have to start reading a Deadpool comic again.
Also, while we’re on the subject, I love that Slapstick redesign! Now there’s an obscure character who needs to get more love.

6 Places I Want to Visit Someday
It’s been a week since I got back from London, and I can say in hindsight that the trip was really fun. We went on the Harry Potter Studio Tour, checking out the sets, costumes and props from the movies. We took an open-bus tour of all the major landmarks. We ate fish & chips in a British pub. It was a hoot. It was also the first time I’ve traveled internationally (Canada doesn’t count). For this week’s List of Six, I’ve decided to share some of the other places I’d like to visit in my lifetime.
I don’t travel much. That’s partly by choice. I like where I am. I’m also largely broke, and money is usually a big part of traveling. But hey, a fella can dream, right? Isn’t that the point of owning and writing in a blog? To dream the impossible dreams and write about them? Someday I’ll be rich and handsome and will be able to travel the world. And these are the six places I want to visit!
Feel free to share some of your own dream destinations in the comments!
The Warcraft Trailer Again in Super High Definition!
I was in England when the Warcraft movie trailer hit the Internet, so I wasn’t able to share my thoughts — good thing I randomly stumbled upon this super high definition version yesterday! You’ve got to use the little gear button in the bottom right corner, but you can set this trailer to play at 1440p! Apparently that’s a thing now, and it’s beautiful!
The trailer looks amazing! The detail, the imagery, the iconic characters, beasts and locations, baby Thrall! I think Warcraft has become my most anticipated movie of 2016. We all know that Captain America: Civil War is going to be awesome. Warcraft is more of a gamble, and I like that. A gamble that looks like it’s going to pay off!
