Epic Arrow Trailer is Epic
The first trailer for the next season of Arrow has hit the Internet, and it’s pretty neat! We’ve got Oliver Queen, Speedy, Diggle’s new costume, some bad guys, some action, Felicity’s new sidekick and some awesome Felicity stuff! It’s everything you could want!
Looks pretty awesome! I’m excited for the new season, but there are so many superhero shows these days, especially spinning off from Arrow, that it’s easy to get overwhelmed. Still, I’m excited to see what they do with Speedy.

Kid Flash is Going To Be On The Flash TV Show!
I guess the rumors have been circulating, and now we know for sure: Kid Flash will be part of The Flash in season 2! Actor Keiynan Lonsdale has been cast as Wally West! I don’t know if they’ve confirmed that he’ll become the Flash’s sidekick, but he’s gotta, right? If The Flash is willing to do both Reverse Flash and Gorilla Grodd, they’re definitely going to do Kid Flash!
This is pretty exciting news, because as you all know, I love sidekicks. I especially like Wally West as Kid Flash – though I’ll admit that I have no experience with him in the New 52, and I have a feeling that the show will portray a more New 52-ish Wally than the classic comic book Wally. Or maybe they’ll go old school origin and character with new school look. Who knows!
Of course, astute readers with good memories will recall that keeping Kid Flash out of the series was #1 on my list of things I wanted to see on the Flash TV show. But seeing how awesome the first season was, and how eager they were to really delve into stuff from the comics, I’ve changed my mind! Bring on Wally! Bring on Kid Flash! Bring on Season 2!

Once Again, Hawkman is Coming to a Live Action DC Show Before Batman, Wonder Woman or Superman
We all know that Hawkgirl is going to be one of the stars of the upcoming Legends of Tomorrow show. Well apparently, DC Comics and The CW are also going to bring her paramour, Hawkman, into the universe with her! Actor Falk Hentschel has been cast as Hawkman, to appear on Arrow and The Flash!
How insane is this? Believe you me, I’m all in favor of expanding The CWverse. But Hawkman? For reals? They’re gonna try to make Hawkman work?!
Remember when he appeared on Smallville?
Hawkman is an inherently silly character. And why couldn’t Hawkgirl stand on her own? Why does she need Hawkman to show up too? I suppose that’s just nit-picking. I’m gonna love seeing both of them when they appear! (Also in random Hawkman news, I totally bought a Hawkman LEGO mini-fig at Boston Comic-Con this weekend! Woot!).
Also, once again, a live action DC TV show (universe) gets Hawkman before it gets Superman, Batman or Wonder Woman, just like in Smallville. This is a pretty backwards way of thinking.
This also means my hopes of adding the Wonder Twins to The CWverse just got a lot brighter!

6 Thoughts on the Third Season of Arrow
The third season of Arrow came to a dramatic conclusion last week, with Oliver Queen making some pretty major decisions about his life. Season 3 has been a rocky one, but I enjoyed the heck out of it. Arrow is still one of my favorite shows on television and you better believe I can’t wait to watch DC’s TV universe get bigger and better.
I’m no good at reviewing TV shows, especially episode-to-episode. So when a season of one of my favorite superhero TV shows is over, I like to do a roundup like this. You can check out my lists for the first and second seasons of Arrow. As for the third season, like I said, I enjoyed it, but it wasn’t as good as the previous season. Could it be because the creative team was split up in order to make The Flash? Who knows!
Join me after the jump to see my thoughts on the third season of Arrow. And feel free to share your own review in the comments below.
Legends of Tomorrow: And Just Like That, Nothing is Ever the Same Again
One day after the Supergirl trailer hits, we’ve got our first full look at Legends of Tomorrow, the oddly not-named Justice League show spinning out of Arrow and The Flash. This is a real trailer, more than three minutes long, showing everybody in action against the forces of Vandal Savage.
I don’t think television is ever going to be the same again.
I mean, come on! This is a full-on superhero team TV show, featuring time travel, the Atom, resurrections, big fights, Firestorm; this is insane, right? This can’t really be happening? This can’t really be a real TV show that we all get to watch and enjoy?
Granted, it looks cheesy as hell, but they’re making cheesy work on The Flash. I don’t see any reason why this can’t be as amazing as we all want it to be. I even have some ideas!
Though I still want to know how they justify not having the Flash or Green Arrow on the team.
