Make Fun of Iron Man Day
So for some reason, the universe really decided to stick it to Iron Man yesterday, with two completely independent comical films on Youtube. And me being the schmuck that I am, I’m sharing both at the same time!
First up is a pretty hilarious spoof of what it would be like if Mark Wahlberg replaced Robert Downey Jr. This is a spot-on Wahlberg impression by Dave Ebert.
That was made by the fine people at Official Comedy, and it is officially awesome!
Next up is the Honest Trailers take on Iron Man 3. As you know, I enjoyed Iron Man 3 a great deal, but the Screen Junkies definitely have a lot of fun picking it apart. I was fine with the whole Mandarin reveal until watching their video. Now I am kind of upset about the whole thing…
Iron Man took a beating yesterday, but I’m sure he’ll keep on ticking. Onward to Thor in November!
Cool Unused Iron Man Scene
Back when they were making The Avengers, there were apparently some other plans that didn’t make it to the screen. For example, here’s a neat animatic for an alternate Iron Man intro.
This would have been a cool scene in the movie, but what they went with was good too. You can check out a few more of these animatics here, including one with a brief glimpse of the Wasp, because she was in early scripts.
How Iron Man 3 Should Have Ended
They’re at it again! And this one is legitimately funny.
The How It Should Have Ended people are getting better and better. They’re finally back to showing us a legitimate alternate ending, which one would think was the whole point. These are always good for a chuckle.

My Favorite Iron Man Armor
Today is Iron Man 3 day! The film has been getting great reviews, and I’ll be seeing it after work this afternoon. I’m very excited, and I’ll post my full review later tonight. But just to give my blog a little taste of Iron Man today, I’ve decided to share my favorite Iron Man armor!
Chillaxing like an iron boss
Ever since Iron Man was created back in the 1960s, he’s had dozens of armors. Upwards of 30 are going to appear in the new movie. Tony Stark is a genius inventor, and he’s always tinkering. Plus you just have to admit that Iron Man is a pretty rad look. That red/gold style is flashy and awesome.
