Some Honest Trailers for this Honest Friday
Since I no longer have comics to talk about, it’s a good thing I’ve saved up a couple of good YouTube videos to use on lazy Fridays like this one. Arguably, I should have plenty of time to write up some original pieces for this blog, but I have not yet transitioned out of the ‘lay on my couch staring at my ceiling’ phase of quarantine.
So how about the Honest Trailer of Star Wars: The Rise of Skywalker!
Ha, yeah. The movie was all those things. In time, I’m probably going to feel the same way about The Rise of Skywalker as I do the other new Star Wars movies. Which is that it’s fine, but I just don’t care.
How about the Honest Trailer for Harley Quinn: Birds of Prey?
Also a movie I enjoyed. I’m sad it wasn’t a success and we probably won’t get a sequel of any kind. But at least we’ve got parody videos!

Some Honest Trailers to Enjoy on This Nice Friday
This strikes me as a very casual week, so lets cap it off with a couple of Honest Trailers I haven’t gotten around to sharing. I love me a good Honest Trailer, and I’ve got a couple of doozies today!
Like the Honest Trailer for the hit film Knives Out, one of my favorites from last year!
Knives Out was a great movie! And it’s on DVD, so feel free to go out and rent it if you haven’t seen it yet!
Meanwhile, how about an Honest Trailer for Frozen 2?
I liked Frozen 2, though obviously it wasn’t t he runaway hit that the first one was. I’m ready for Frozen 3. I’m also ready for Disney to reveal that Elsa is gay. That’s a drum I’m ready to just keep beating!
I saved the most boring for last! Terminator: Dark Fate!
Let us hope this is the end of the Terminator franchise for a nice, long time.

It’s Monday, I’m on Vacation, Let’s Just Take It Easy
Let’s ease into our lives this morning with a bit of fun parody video. The fine folks at Honest Trailers have done up Spider-Man: Far From Home. It was a fine movie, and it’s out on DVD! So let’s all enjoy its fineness.
Ah, that’s some good, quality content. More than enough to sustain my need for entertainment on this fine Monday. But I’m off from work, got no responsibilities and I think I’ll go play some video games and relax. You all have a good day.

Honestly, Godzilla 2 is Forgettable
I enjoyed Godzilla: King of the Monsters in the theaters, but all these months later, it’s a pretty forgettable film. The monster fights were cool, but the human parts were boring as hell, and I can’t really recall anything from that movie — other than the cool Mothra twins reveal.
Whereas I have a lot of fond, badass memories of that first Godzilla in the reboot…
I’m just saying, people crap on that first Godzilla too much. The delayed gratification worked perfectly, exactly how it was meant to. But I suppose King of the Monsters is cool enough, with Honest Trailers nailing all the right points.
Next up is Godzilla vs. King Kong!

Honestly, I Have No Problem to the Time Travel in Avengers: Endgame
Avengers: Endgame was great and hugely entertaining, and I’m all set to grab the DVD next week. But first, Honest Trailers tackles the hit and mostly complains about how it handles time travel. Look, you just gotta not worry too much.
Just go with the flow, baby, and enjoy some Avengers: Endgame! I saw it three times in theaters, and while I don’t think it’s as good as Infinity War, it’s still good. Avengers: Endgame is currently sitting at my favorite movie of the year so far.
