The Arkham Knight Robin Looks More Exciting!
We’ve got our first close-up look at Robin from Batman: Arkham Knight! I think he looks great!
He’s very similar to his look from Arkham City, which is expected, and I liked Arkham City just as much. I dig the armor, I dig the haircut; I dig the whole thing.
But…I don’t yet have that upgraded PC or the money to make it happen. And now I’ve got less than a month to get it together!

The New Ant-Man Poster is a Little More Exciting!
The last Ant-Man poster was your typical ‘stand up straight while everyone else’s faces float around you’. Solid movie postering, I suppose. But this new one is a bit more action packed!
For a second there, I thought Ant-Man had some kind of tiny floating scooter or something. But then I realized it’s a saddle attached to a giant ant. That’s pretty darn cool…and a little concerning. Did they build the saddle in advance to shrink down with him? Or is it a miniature saddle? Questions, questions…
Ant-Man opens at the end of July! And if you start seeing Ant-Man toys in your local stores, let me know! I’m dying to get my hands on a good action figure or some LEGOs!

Looks Like We May Get that Renee Montoya Ongoing After All!
DC Comics apparently did something kind of huge with the end of Convergence — which, I admit, I haven’t been reading. This news comes via Newsarama, Bleeding Cool and a bunch of other comic sites that do much better research than I do.
I’m going to put the SPOILER after the jump, just in case you don’t want to be spoiled and are reading my blog after the comic came out. I would be interested to know the crossover of people who read my blog and who are simultaneously waiting to read the final issue of Convergence.
Still, join me after the jump!
6 Thoughts on the First Season of The Flash
With the first season of The Flash TV show complete, I think we can all declare that live action superheroes, complete with comic book craziness, are the new amazing. Arrow started small and kept things simple, but The Flash threw caution to the wind and burst out of the gate with everything from the Speed Force to Gorilla Grodd to a real, comics accurate costume!
I really enjoyed the first season of The Flash, and I’m very excited to see where they go next year. It wasn’t my favorite comic book show this year, but The Flash is nonetheless an accomplishment. It proves to audiences and executives that these sorts of superheroics can be amazing. The Flash wasn’t dark, grim or gritty like the DC movies, it embraced the friendlier, more colorful aspects of the character, and we all benefited.
So like I’ve done for other comic shows, I wanted to share my thoughts with you all on the first season of The Flash. I’ve got more than a few nitpicks. Join me after the jump! And beware of SPOILERS!
Once Upon a Time, Armageddon Was My Favorite Movie
But I never saw Armageddon in theaters. I only ever saw it on VHS at home, so…still, it was awesome.
I wonder if it still holds up today. I’m still a huge fan of The Rock, probably the best action movie ever made. That was good era Michael Bay, as the Screen Junkies point out. Logic be damned, Armageddon is good movies.
