Star Wars Had Their Thing!
Didn’t I tell you they were going to have a thing? They promised, and they delivered! And that thing was a new trailer!
First impressions, I’m not as blown away as everybody else. It looks great, it looks very slick, but there’s just something missing…We didn’t get any Luke Skywalker stuff. The end of the trailer didn’t have any particularly strong buzzes. But maybe I just really want to see the movie now, and any tease is just going to leave me wanting more! It happens.

Star Wars Is Gonna Have a Thing Tonight!
The new Star Wars: The Force Awakens trailer is going to premiere tonight during a football game! I won’t be watching the game — as per last week’s List of Six — but you can be darn sure I’ll be scouring the Internet afterwards for the trailer! I’ll probably post it tomorrow morning after I sleep off the effects of watching the trailer.
While we wait, Star Wars was kind enough to reveal a badass new poster for The Force Awakens!
Oh man, now that’s a poster! Han! Leia! Rey, Finn and Po! Lightsabers! A new super Death Star!
Then Star Wars as kind enough to release the same poster horizontally, for some reason!
They’ve got all the bases covered for tonight’s trailer premiere!

Hench-Sized Comic Book Reviews – 10/17/15
Another week, another new batch of All-New, All-Different Marvel comics! I’d love to read and review every single one, but I’m a busy man, especially this week. Did you hear about that murder at the church in upstate New York? That’s right in my backyard, and as the local newspaper reporter, I’m all over that stuff!
Fortunately, I still found time to read some new comics! And it was another good week! I scoped out the first issues of Chewbacca and New Avengers, and enjoyed a few of my favorites from DC Comics, like Starfire and Harley Quinn. But the clear standout and winner of Comic Book of the Week is Ms. Marvel #19.
Was there really any doubt?
I can’t wait for this series to come back from hiatus!
Comic Reviews: Batman #45, Batman and Robin Eternal #2, Chewbacca #1, Harley Quinn #21, Ms. Marvel #19, New Avengers #1 and Starfire #5.
Fallout 4 is a Wanderer
Fallout 4 is right around the corner, people! I may still be buried in the new DLC for Witcher 3 (it’s awesome), but I have been suffering from a case of sequelitis for years! And 4 is a bigger number than 3!
Good trailer! And good times! Anybody else getting excited for Fallout 4? I was king of the wasteland in the previous two games and can’t wait!

I’ll Believe’em When I See’em
Yesterday’s comic news cornucopia was abuzz with announcements of a Godzilla vs. Kong movie, a Y: The Last Man TV show and two official X-Men shows about Legion and the Hellfire Club. The news was everywhere.
But here’s the thing: I’ll believe’em when I see’em.
All of these announcements could be true…or they could just be the same type of announcement we always get. Where’s the Booster Gold TV show that was announced? Where are the Lobo and Metal Men and Justice League Dark movies that were announced? Where’s the Y: The Last Man movie that was announced?
The only project I actually believe will happen is Godzilla vs. Kong, but even then, I’m skeptical. These announcements happen all the time and few of them ever come to pass. So by all means, they can announce whatever they want. But let’s see them put their money where their announcements are!
Also, seriously, Legion and the Hellfire Club?! FOX has access to the entire X-Men library and they chose the two dumbest things to make shows out of? Where’s my X-Factor detective show, dammit?!
