Two New Spider-Man: Homecoming Trailers for the Price of None!

Today of all random days, we’ve got two brand new, completely different trailers for Spider-Man: Homecoming! How neat is that?

I’m definitely hyped about this movie now. I know the trailers have given away a ton of the story, but I’m OK with that. I’ve liked what I’ve seen so far. This should prove to be a really good Spider-Man movie, and that’s all I want from this world. Well…that’s not true. But that’s all I want from this movie. Just be good.

Top 6 “Blue” Superheroes

Wanna have some fun? Everybody wants to have some fun. We’re going to start a new game on List of Six called the Color Wheel. I’m going to scour the world of comic book superheroes and find the best heroes and villains who identify themselves by color. You’ve heard of Green Lantern and Green Arrow, right? It’s kind of like that. For the first Color Wheel List, we’re gonna go blue.

Blue List 01

Why blue? Why not! Everybody likes blue! And there are some surprisingly interesting superheroes and comic book characters out there decked out in the bluest of colors. So without further ablue, join me after the jump!

Starting Off a Monday With Some South Park Video Gaming

After a pretty busy week between trial coverage, a hospital stay, mailing the Gamer Girl & Vixen graphic novel and taking my parents to the train station super early Saturday morning, this is finally my week to just kick back and relax and get back to some normal routines. To that end, how about a lazy Monday morning where I just share a new trailer for South Park: The Fractured But Whole?

Yep, still can’t wait for this game to come out! And it looks like it’s coming out on Oct. 17! Neat.

Hench-Sized Comic Book Reviews – 5/20/17

Boy, what a couple of weeks, huh? In my day job as a newspaper reporter, I have been wrapped up covering a high profile murder trial since late last month! And then there were those couple of days I was in the hospital! It’s been a crazy time, and it’s cut into my comic reading. A shame really, since we’ve had some good comics in the past few weeks.

This week in particular, we’ve got new issues of Batwoman, Squirrel Girl and The Wild Storm, along with debut issues of Generation X and Luke Cage, both of which were highly anticipated by yours truly! And sure enough, the spiritual successor to Power Man and Iron Fist wins Comic Book of the Week for another awesome story by David F. Walker!

Luke Cage First Shot 01

Go ahead, punk, make his day

Meanwhile, in comics I read but didn’t review, Harley Quinn kicked off a fun new story, though I think I’m gonna skip this one. Power Rangers was an interlude issue about Zordon, and was still good. And the second issue of Secret Empire kept the story rolling along, but mostly served to spin-off into the various tie-in titles. All-in-all, a fine week in comics.

I even enjoyed the new issue of X-Men Gold, so I may have to try that series again.

Comic Reviews: Batwoman #3, Generation X #1, Luke Cage #1, Unbeatable Squirrel Girl #20 and The Wild Storm #4.

We Can All Breathe a Sigh of Relief, Gizmoduck Will Indeed Be in the New Ducktales Cartoon

If you were anything like me, you were wondering if Gizmoduck would appear in the new Ducktales cartoon. Welp…he will! And he’ll be voiced by Lin-Manuel Miranda. Neat!

Gizmoduck Cartoon 01

Gizmoduck was my favorite character in the original cartoon — because I, uh, like superheroes. So I had my hopes up for the reboot cartoon. This is just a fun bit of confirmation that somethings in this world are A-OK.

Now we just need Darkwing Duck…
