How About a Ghost of Yōtei Story Trailer?
Ghost of Yōtei is a sequel to Ghost of Tsushima, an excellent game, and it’s coming out later this year. I’m excited. You should be excited. Should be a great game! And it’s a random Monday at the end of April, so how about a new trailer that shows off a bit of the story? Seems like a good use of all of our time.
Looks good to me. I don’t even need to see anything else about this game. I’m getting it. Maybe Day One, maybe not. Depends on when Grand Theft Auto VI comes out. Everything depends on when GTA6 comes out. But Ghost of Yōtei comes out on Oct. 2. So we’ll see! Though how I’ll be able to go from this to getting Assassin’s Creed: Shadows on sale next year should be tough.
Speaking of games, I’ve just bought and downloaded Clair Obscur: Expedition 33 this morning. I’ve finished Kingdom Come: Deliverance II and didn’t know what to move on to next, and then the internet started gushing about this Expedition 33 game. I know very little about it, haven’t seen a trailer, so I’m mostly going in blind. I’ll let you know how it goes at the end of the week.

Hench-Sized Comic Book Reviews – 4/26/25
Another week has come and gone and another batch of comics is upon us. A ton of books I’m reading came out this week, and somehow I found the time to review a whole bunch of them, including Absolute Martian Manhunter, Batman: Hush 2 and Amazing Spider-Man.
Comic Book of the Week goes to Absolute Wonder Woman, which shouldn’t be a surprise, because few things can touch this comic other than the regular Wonder Woman book and the other main Absolutes.
Meanwhile, I finished The Pitt last night and it definitely lived up to all the hype its been getting! Excellent medical drama. And I’m winding down on Kingdom Come: Deliverance II and am in need of another game. Possibly that Elder Scrolls: Oblivion remaster…
Double meanwhile, the Kickstarter campaign remains ongoing for The Museum of the Uncanny anthology! I’ve got a short comic story in the book and we’re doing well as we head into the final weeks of the campaign! Force me to put my money where my mouth is! I spend all this time reviewing comics, come and read one I’ve written myself!
Comic Reviews: Absolute Martian Manhunter #2, Absolute Wonder Woman #7, Amazing Spider-Man #2, Batman #159, G.I. Joe #6 and X-Men #15.

It’s a shame that Andor has already started because I’ve already stopped thinking about Daredevil: Born Again. Heh. But still, I’m here to talk about my thoughts on the first season of the new Daredevil show. And like the Marvel Zombie I am, I enjoyed the season, though I don’t think it lived up to the hype.
TV Show Rating: 7/10 – Good
I watched and enjoyed the original three seasons of Daredevil when they came out on Netflix. I binged them just like everybody else, and I enjoyed all three seasons. I’m not the biggest Daredevil fan, but I’ve read a lot of his comics and I’m always in favor of more Marvel entertainment. I’ve definitely been fully on board with bringing back the original actors to revive the Netflix show. I just wish it had been a little stronger.
Join me after the jump for my full thoughts/review of the first season of Daredevil: Born Again. Expect FULL SPOILERS for the whole season. And feel free to share your own thoughts in the comments below!

I don’t normally pay any attention to video game remasters. There are always new video games to play, so I rarely look back. But I never finished Oblivion back when it first came out. And Elder Scrolls 6 is still a million years away. So maybe…
Anyway, this game was released just yesterday with no announcement ahead of time. Bethesda was just working on this totally in secret, then just unleashed it upon the world. Better graphics, better everything, I guess. Free on X-Box Gamepass, but otherwise costing a normal amount of money for a video game elsewhere.
I might have to play this one. I’m just finishing up Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2, so I need a new game to play. And like I said, I never finished Oblivion. Heck, I can barely remember Oblivion. I don’t remember what type of character I created. I don’t remember most missions or major events. So it might be like a new game for me.
Though I probably shouldn’t go from KCD2 into a 20-year-old game, no matter how remastered it might be. I need something to whet my palette.

Hench-Sized Comic Book Reviews – 4/19/25
We’re back, baby! Just as we are every week, talking about new comics and whatnot. Been a busy week. But I found time to read a couple of comics, like Wonder Woman and Exceptional X-Men.
Comic Book of the Week goes to Absolute Flash #2 for helping me to better understand and appreciate what this comic might actually be about. Though knowing myself, I’m probably way off.
Meanwhile, I’m wrapping up Kingdom Come: Deliverance II and had a blast with this game! Lived up to all the hype and expectations! I enjoyed the finale of Daredevil: Born Again and hope to have my full review/thoughts posted next week. And I’m currently working my way through The Pitt, a show that is also living up to the hype around it.
Double meanwhile, the Kickstarter campaign remains ongoing for The Museum of the Uncanny, a comics anthology in which I have a short story! So if you’d like to support my comics work and a bunch of other creative people, head on over and check out the campaign!
Comic Reviews: Absolute Flash #2, Exceptional X-Men #8 and Wonder Woman #20.
