Sessions with Stan Lee
This cartoon is making the rounds and it’s pretty fun! It’s a speech by Stan the Man about the power of cuss words, recorded by collaborator Aron Fromm. And it’s animated by Richard Plata, among others. Pretty fun stuff.
And it’s the perfect sort of easy thing to share on this, the day after Thanksgiving. I’m relaxing at home and trying to decide how soon is too soon to watch the new episode of The Mandalorian…

6 X-Men LEGO Sets We Need to Have
There exists only two LEGO X-Men sets. This is appalling. Once upon a time, Marvel’s CEO was royally annoyed at the X-Men because the movie rights were owned by FOX Studios, so no X-Men products were being made. But all of that is settled. Marvel and Disney own the X-Men again. So why haven’t they worked out more LEGO X-Men sets?
There are a ton of LEGO Marvel sets in general…but they’re starting to repeat themselves. Everything has either Spider-Man or Carnage or Venom in it. And there are only so many times you can give Spider-Man a new monster truck or helicopter before it becomes ridiculous. How many Hulkbusters does Iron Man need? How many themed motorcycles can they make? The time has come for Marvel and LEGO to embrace the wide world of the X-Men and give the people what they want!
Join me after the jump to see which X-Men LEGO sets the people (i.e. me) want!

The third season of the TV show Titans is due out…I think any year now…on HBO Max! We’ve already seen the live action Red Hood costume, and now they’ve revealed the new, more comics-accurate Starfire costume!
Here’s actor Anna Diop in the flashy purple Starfire costume!
I think it looks neat! It also looks a little awkward, but then a proper comic book Starfire costume was probably always going to look awkward. At least she’s not being made to wear a purple metal bikini on national TV…or HBO Max.
I still need to watch the second season of Titans.

Have You Seen Letterkenny?
So I got introduced to this show a couple months ago and I immediately binged all 8 seasons because it’s just that good. Letterkenny is about some good old boys in rural Canada, and I believe it’s available to watch on Crave and/or Hulu. Season 9 is coming out in a month!
Consider this a strong recommendation from me: go watch Letterkenny. Half an hour episodes of delightful comedy and wordplay. That’s good watching.
Season 9 debuts on Christmas Day.

Hench-Sized Comic Book Reviews – 11/21/20
Happy Thanksgiving, American friends! The holiday isn’t until Thursday, but this feels like a good time to say something nice about Thanksgiving. Be safe. Wear your mask. Social distance. Do all that good stuff.
Against my better judgement, Comic Book of the Week goes to X-Force #14, due entirely to lack of competition. None of the other comics I read this week were as fun.
Meanwhile, I skipped the newest issue of Spider-Woman. Not much happened. And I’m still enjoying Spider-Man: Miles Morales. Oh, I know! I got around to watching a Hulu show called Dirk Gently’s Holistic Detective Agency and it’s very fun! Highly recommended.
Comic Reviews: Batman #103, Juggernaut #3, X-Force #14, Hellions #6 and Cable #6.
