Everybody’s Talking About the Riddler!

The Riddler is the villain of the month thanks to The Batman, so that makes him a perfect choice for the latest episode of Tell It Animated! And it’s a real doozy of an episode.

This channel is pure quality. I hope the creator is having the time of their life making all this happen, and I hope they are making a ton of money on Patreon to keep it going. And, as always, should he ever read this random blog post sharing his video, I vote for Robin as a future entry!

Hench-Sized Comic Book Reviews – 3/26/22

This was another light week of comics for me, and I’m fine by that! Sometimes a fella is busy. But we’ve got some really neat comics, including Saga, Robins and a crossover between the Power Rangers and Godzilla!

Comic Book of the Week goes to that very comic, as these titans clash and clash some more!

Let them fight

Meanwhile, I’m still enjoying Horizon Forbidden West, and will be playing that for the foreseeable future. I love a big, busy open world game. I watched and enjoyed The Boys: Diabolical, and now I’m watching Our Flag Means Death HBO Max. That’s a fun one too!

Comic Reviews: Godzilla vs. The Mighty Morphin Power Rangers #1, Robins #6 and Saga #57.

Let’s Look at the Joker Anyway!

The Batman did great in theaters and made a ton of money. But several weeks have passed now and people are moving on — so how about DC juice interest in the movie by releasing a deleted scene that fully features Barry Keoghan’s Joker! Only teased in the actual movie, this 5-minute scene does not shy around the Joker.

I think this is great! Releasing a deleted scene like this is a fun way to spark some new interest in the movie. And why not go hog wild with the new interpretation of the Joker? People like the Joker. People love to talk about that Joker tease in the movie. This is a great way to expand the universe of The Batman without saying anything yet about a sequel. Fun little video.

I also love the idea that the Joker has already been done in this universe. He came and went sometime in Batman’s first year, and now he’s behind bars in Arkham. Hopefully this means we won’t get Joker as the main villain in the sequel.

6 Comic Book Knights Who Aren’t From the Moon

The Moon Knight TV show arrives on Disney+ next week and we’re all excited to watch! Initial reviews are positive, and there’s a lot of crazy angles to explore with Moon Knight. What probably won’t get explored is his status as a knight. Where’s his suit of armor? Where’s his lance? And horse? A sad knight indeed.

TV will never be the same!

I’m going to level with you fine folks. I was working on a different List of Six about a different topic, and then my computer suffered some kind of connection issue and I lost pretty much everything. And we all know that feeling of losing hours of writing/work. I didn’t want to slog through rewriting everything, so I scrambled for a quickie list I could throw together. The Moon Knight TV show comes out next week. What about moon-based superheroes? Nope, nothing much to work with. What about…comic book knights? Heck yes!

Join me after the jump for six superhero knights in this hastily slapped together blog listicle!

Halo TV Show Incoming

The Halo TV show debuts on Paramount+ this week and I’m pretty excited. I know there are a lot of naysayers across the internet right now, but I think it looks good! I just want to see what they manage to pull off, with high hopes for some quality television.

I don’t see what the problem is with these trailers. I think the CGI looks good. I’ll grant you that I’m no master of the Halo games or lore, so I’m not at all bothered by the show going in their own direction storywise. I just wanna see a cool sci-fi show with the recognizable Master Chief at the center. I’m excited to see what happens.

Halo kicks off on March 25.
