Here’s a Fun Little Krypto Cartoon Short
To coincide with the Superman movie releasing digitally this week, DC and Warner Bros. have put together this little Krypto cartoon short. It’s only about 5 minutes long and is perfectly harmless fun, starring the movie version of Kypto and not any of the multitude of other animated Kryptos from the past. Watch it while you can, because it may get taken down at some point.
See? Harmless fun.
I only saw the Superman movie once in theaters, so I’ll probably grab a digital download at some point and watch again at home. I still want to catch Fantastic Four a second time in theaters if I can…
There will be a few more Krypto shorts coming along for the holidays, I think…

Hench-Sized Comic Book Reviews – 8/9/25
Welp, here we are. It’s August. We all continue to trudge along in our lives. The only thing we can look forward to is new comics, like Absolute Superman!
Comic Book of the Week goes to Captain America #2 for a proper introduction of my new most anticipated character: Captain America!
Meanwhile, I continue to stretch Death Stranding 2 out as long as I can. I’m sure I could just rush to the finish, but then I don’t know how interested I am in cleaning up in the post-game. We’ll find out. I’ve been watching the second and final season of The Sandman and I dare say it continues to be a solid adaptation. I’m pleased to see that they’re actually ending the TV show like they did the comic. Should be fun.
Comic Reviews: Absolute Superman #10, Captain America #2 and Cheetah and Cheshire Rob the Justice League #1.

I think it’s safe to say that BoJack Horseman is my favorite television show of all time. That was such greatness! And now the creator, Raphael Bob-Waksberg, has a new show coming to Netflix called Long Story Short. I’m going to be watching, and you should too.
Looks to be a story of three siblings and their family told across all their lives. Neat concept. Should be fun. Should be hilarious and touching and emotionally devastating, hopefully! Put this one on your calendar!
Long Story Short is coming to Netflix on Aug. 22.

All Them Supermans, Animated
Welcome to a new week, everybody! Sorry I was gone over the weekend. I went home and visited the folks, with my siblings in town. So it was a nice weekend. And now it’s a Monday, and another week has begun. Oy vey. Anyway, to kick off this Monday, how about the Tell It Animated episode for Superman?
Such fun! Tell It Animated is always a hoot. And, as always, I suggest doing Robin! Plenty of live action Robin appearances, even if none of them have been all that great.

6 Thoughts on Fantastic Four: First Steps (Review)
At long last, the new and fourth attempt at a Fantastic Four movie has arrived at our theaters, this time by the actual Marvel Studios. Did you know that I have never seen Fan4stic? It was apparently bad and I’ve never had enough curiosity to watch it. And I knew Marvel would get the rights back eventually.
Movie Rating: 9/10 – Great
Personally, I would have been fine had Marvel found a way to fit the Fantastic Four into the existing Marvel Cinematic Universe. I had my own idea once on how to make it work. But screw all of that because this retro, multiverse idea worked flawlessly! I loved the vibe, I loved the world, I loved the characters, I loved the movie!
Join me after the jump for my full thoughts on Fantastic Four: First Steps. Expect FULL SPOILERS for the film. And feel free to share your own thoughts in the comments below.
