I Gotta Play Virtual Reality Someday
The other day, I wrote about how I’m getting pretty fascinated with the growing virtual/augmented reality gaming world. Pokemon GO is a great place to start, but there is so much more being built and developed out there, and poor little old me will never get his hands on it. Like this thing, the HTC Vive!
The REACT Channel does a lot of these types of videos, and I like watching because it’s great to see this technology through someone’s eyes, at least. It may seem like a silly game, but I really, really want to play. I want to try it out, see what it’s like. I want to be in that virtual kitchen, just for a taste.
Pun intended.

Overwatch is Still Making Cartoons, Because Fun
Overwatch has been out for awhile now, and I have yet to take the plunge and dive in. I’m sure it’s a super fun game and a lot of people are loving it, but I make weird decisions with money. Anyway, Blizzard has decided to keep making Overwatch cartoons, because they’re just so damn good at it! Here’s one about Bastion the nature-loving robot!
Blizzard is just so damn good at these! Where’s the animated series? Or the movie? Though I’m sure they make more than enough money with all the video games…

Vacation Over, Let’s Have Some Batman
Like all good things, my vacation has come to an end (possibly with me getting a little sick). But I am one who soldiers on. I’ve got to go to work, and I need to get my blog back into gear. I need some posts! How about an Honest Trailer for Batman: Arkham City? That game is a classic.
Those were the days. Will we ever see a game as cool as the Batman: Arkham series ever again? Time will tell.

6 Thoughts on Pokemon GO
It’s been a month now since Pokemon GO took over the world, and I’d like to think everything has changed for the better — though I suppose nothing has really changed at all. The world is still the world. And Pokemon GO has not yet become the perfect game it was always meant to be. It’s got a long way to go and a lot of updates ahead of itself. But hey, at least it’s fun.
Right now, I’m level 18 and am on Team Valor. I’ve seen and caught 60 pokemon with a pretty empty Pokedex. I’ve captured a few gyms, but one can’t really hold a gym for long. I’m not really in it for the gyms anyway. My strongest team is made up of mostly Eevee evolutions, because that’s just pretty easy, apparently. And I catch more Weedles and Rattatas than one would ever want. Fortunately, that just keeps boosting up my Stardust reserve for when I really need that stuff down the line.
I’m excited to see the world get into a pokemon mood, and I’m doubly excited now for Pokemon Sun and Moon coming in November. So join me after the jump for my thoughts on the phenomenon that is Pokemon GO!
No Sign of Robin in Telltale Batman Game; Literally Unplayable
There’s going to be another Batman video game later this Summer, and it’s going to be made by the Telltale people, who specialize in point-and-click adventure stories. They’re the geniuses behind The Walking Dead game, so Batman is probably in good hands.
Unfortunately, there’s no sign of Robin in this game, so what’s even the point? Should I even bother playing? Maybe Clementine will cameo and it’ll all be worth it.
