6 Thoughts on Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order
Star Wars: The Rise of Skywalker comes out this week and I wanted to make the occasion with a Star Wars List of Six. I’ve done some great ones in the past, like my list of crazy alien Jedi or my list of other famous wookiees. But for this week’s List of Six, I’ve decided to give my review of another big recent Star Wars property: the video game Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order!

Comic Rating: 7/10 – Good.
I’ll probably also review Rise of Skywalker and even The Mandalorian soon, so look out for those. But now I want to delve into Fallen Order, the best Star Wars game in quite some time, and hopefully the herald of some new games going forward. It’s an original story with original characters, set in a very familiar universe. I was wary about the game based on the trailers. And while my concerns weren’t overcome, I still had fun with Fallen Order. It was a quick game, I beat it over two rental weekends, and now it’s time to be super late in my review!
Join me after the jump for my thoughts on Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order. Expect some SPOILERS for the game in the review. And feel free to share your own review and thoughts in the comments!
6 Thoughts on The Outer Worlds
I don’t often review video games because I usually take my time with them. It took me two months to play through my favorite game of last year, Red Dead Redemption 2, and I’m still playing the online multiplayer mode to this day. But I’ve already bought and beat my most anticipated game of this year: The Outer Worlds!

Video Game Rating: 8/10 – Very Good.
I love the story behind The Outer Worlds. Game studio Obsidian created the snarky Fallout games back in the day, then fellow studio Bethesda came along and took over. They revamped the play style and made it bigger and better, delivering Fallout 3 and Fallout 4 to great acclaim. I loved both games! They even let Obsidian play in their toybox, having Obsidian create spin-off Fallout: New Vegas using the same game engine but telling a new story.
Then something went wrong and Bethesda kicked Obsidian to the curb. So Obsidian decided to make their own Fallout, with black jack and hookers! And here comes The Outer Worlds, a game that plays almost exactly like a Fallout game, but with a new idea set in a corporation-controlled outer space. What a great twist!

6 Royal Ice Ladies Not Named Elsa
Do you want to make a Frozen-themed List of Six? Why yes, I do! And I’m not going to let this idea go! Or something. You all know the obvious Frozen puns. Don’t hold me to a high standard! Let’s just enjoy a list based on the release of Frozen II.
I liked Frozen II. I didn’t think much of the original movie, but I’m fully on board with the campaign to have Queen Elsa come out of the closet, so these movies matter just enough to me that I wanted to do a List of Six! I think Frozen II was better than the first, though none of the songs are as memorable or as good as “Let It Go!”. But this list isn’t a review of Frozen II. This is a celebration of the very idea of awesome women with ice powers who happen to hold a royal or leadership position (even if in name only). It’s apparently so common that I was able to make a whole List of Six about it! How cool is that?
Pun intended. Join me after the jump for a bunch of other ice queens, princesses and martial arts masters who aren’t Elsa from Frozen!
The New Sonic the Hedgehog Redesign is Here!
The world came together in one voice this summer, declaring that the Sonic the Hedgehog movie design was hideous and everything wrong with the world. Welp, the movie studio went back to the drawing board and have returned a redesigned hedgehog that looks more like the video game.
The design is better. The movie still looks really dumb.
Someday I hope we get the Citizen Kane of cartoon animal meets real people movies. This looks like the next installment of the Chipmunk movies. But God help me, I’m probably still gonna see it.
Sonic the Hedgehog comes out on Feb. 14.

The Only Thing to Bring Me Back to World of Warcraft Will be Ogres
The newest expansion of World of Warcraft has been announced and ogres are not yet a playable race. I’m sure Shadowlands will be awesome, but I’m holing out for ogres.
With this new expansion, I’m about to be three expansions behind on what used to be my favorite video game. I loved World of Warcraft, and I still probably do. But it’s not a game for me anymore. I was never interested in the post-game stuff. I just want to explore the world and play a good story. But I just don’t have much interest in the overall game anymore.
I want ogres. And maybe bards.
