Some People May Be Looking Forward to the Snyder Cut
I am not one of those people. I liked Justice League well enough when I saw it in theaters, but I haven’t seen it since. And I like a lot of director Zack Snyder’s earlier work, like 300 and Watchmen. Heck, I also really like Leonard Cohen’s Hallelujah!
But man, this new-ish trailer for the #SnyderCut is atrocious.
First of all, it’s almost exactly like the original trailer that was put up a couple weeks ago. That got taken down for a copyright strike on the song…so they just re-upload the trailer again with the same song and a couple of seconds of new footage? Second of all, it’s in black and white?! The actual #SnyderCut will not be in black and white. Which means this is an entirely “artistic” choice for this trailer. Jeez louise.
Third of all, did you hear that Wonder Woman 1984 is going to debut both in theaters and on HBO Max on Christmas Day? Bold strategy! Looks like I’ll get to see it after all!

So, Tom & Jerry Are Getting the Live Action Treatment…
Yeah, this is a thing that’s happening. Chloe Grace Moretz gets to pantomime to an invisible Tom and Jerry for a new moving coming out next year.
Oy vey that looks bad. Like, really bad. Like, who is making this nonsense bad? But I suppose it’s nice that the various actors in the movie will continue to get a paycheck of some kind. I like Michael Pena as much as the next person.

A Bunch of Draculas, Animated
There are a bajillion draculas out there in the world. Thankfully, they’re all in movies, so the threat isn’t real. But there’s enough to kick off a fun Tell It Animated adventure!
I think it’d be fun for the Tell It Animated guy to do a whole series on movie Draculas. And then movie Frankensteins. Movie mummies, maybe? There are plenty of characters. He’s not going to run out anytime soon.
My recommendation? Minor Avengers. The Black Widow movie is coming out soon enough, so do an episode about her and throw in the likes of Hawkeye, Ant-Man, Doctor Strange, War Machine and others that probably couldn’t fill a whole episode themselves!

Raya and the Last Dragon Looks a Little Basic
The next big animated Disney movie will be Raya and the Last Dragon, with the first trailer dropping yesterday. It looks pretty basic.
Doesn’t seem like much. Based on that trailer, it looks like there’s a character named Raya, and she’s going to search for the Last Dragon. That’s just the title. Throw in an adorable animal sidekick and you’ve got nothing else. But hey, new movies are always fun.
Raya and the Last Dragon comes out in March 2021…maybe.

Check Out Them There Killer Klowns From Outer Space, Animated
Having run out of horror movie characters with evolving looks, it seems the Tell It Animated dude has moved on to something new: showcasing all of the Killer Klowns from Outer Space. I’d say he does a pretty good job.
I’ve never gotten around to seeing Killer Klowns from Outer Space. I understand it’s a cult classic. I had no idea there were this many Klowns, though clearly some are just mixed and matched. Still, good on the Tell It Animated guy for finding new things to do with his art.
