Let’s Get Scary and Funny for Halloween!
Much like that glorious film Nightmare Before Christmas, we’re going to combine Halloween and Christmas today with the help of Only Leigh! Also, Stranger Things.
Been too long since we had a Leigh comic! I hope she’s keeping busy with awesome projects.
How’s everybody’s Halloween going? I’ll be going as makeshift Captain America again, since costumes aren’t necessarily allowed in my office. Part of me would love to be the badass rebel who wears a costume anyway, but that’s not the office personality I’ve cultivated over the years. Still, I’ll know I’m Captain America.

Take Some Times to Watch a Full Spider-Man Episode!
I’m a longtime fan of Spider-Man cartoons, but this one might be the best ever! Behold 12 minutes of classic awesomeness mixed with modern animation madness!
The Spider-Man Re-Animate Project was created for an arts festival in Canada, comprised of hundreds of different animation styles from different artists. It’s also just a really neat way to enjoy a cartoon and celebrate animation. Plus these old cartoons are always a hoot!

Billy Dee Williams’ Two-Face to Live On in LEGO Form!
I just discovered this fun little Easter Egg from the upcoming LEGO Batman Movie in a gallery of Batman LEGO images from New York Comic-Con and I thought I’d share: Apparently, the Two-Face character in The LEGO Batman Movie might be a Billy Dee Williams version! How else do you explain this very obvious looking LEGO figurine?
Just look at that Billy Dee Williams mustache!
It’s not mentioned on Williams’ IMDB page, and I haven’t really been able to find anything through Google, other than some other people wondering the same thing. But just look at that mini-fig and tell me that’s not Billy Dee Williams as Harvey Dent!
As we all know, Williams played Harvey Dent in the 1989 Batman movie, with plans to eventually turn him into Two-Face. But by the time Hollywood got around to including Two-Face in the franchise, they switched out Williams for Tommy Lee Jones! Williams was robbed! I don’t think we’ve ever seen a black Two-Face. And this race change would have been decades ahead of its time!
Leave it to the people behind the LEGO movies to come up with the ultimate Easter Egg.

Somebody Made a Sweet Indiana Jones Cartoon Short
I’ve never been a huge Indiana Jones fan. I remember watching the movies when I was a kid, but they never really captured me like they did most people. I also have a strong aversion to Harrison Ford in general. But hey, I can appreciate some good fan cartooning!
Patrick Schoenmaker is our masterful film-maker here, a professional in the world of animation. I’d like to think that if I had any skills, I’d do something of this quality and power. But eh…
