I Don’t Know What I’m Going to Do About Teen Titans in DC: Rebirth!
If you haven’t yet heard, DC Comics announced their entire Rebirth lineup at Wondercon today, with all sorts of artwork, new creative teams and more galore! I’m all in favor of pretty much everything they’re planning. As long as it means good comics, I’m on board. They can shake up their lineups all they want. And there are some pretty big shake ups on the way. Nothing as serious as the New 52, but there will definitely be some new stuff out there.
If you haven’t seen the new lineups, I recommend visiting Newsarama or Comic Book Resources. They are much better equipped than I am to handle this stuff. I’m only interested in the parts of Rebirth I’m actually interested in. I’m definitely going to be checking out a lot of the new books, from the Batman books to the Justice League, and I think I’ll try to get back into Aquaman, Wonder Woman and perhaps even some Green Lantern, since my favorite Lantern, Simon Baz, is going to get some attention finally.
But the biggest question I have going forward is what the heck I’m going to do about Teen Titans! The series that I have been reviewing month in and month out since the start of the New 52 will be no more! Those reviews are some of the most popular articles on my blog. So where do I go from here?
What am I supposed to do with this version of the Teen Titans?

Hench-Sized Comic Book Reviews – 3/26/16
So what did everybody think of Batman v. Superman: Dawn of Justice? Is the DC Cinematic Universe off to a good start? I will be seeing the movie tonight, and my review will go up early next week. I’m a little worried, since I didn’t care for Man of Steel. But I’m going to keep an open mind.
Fortunately, comics were a blast this week! We’ve got new Patsy Walker, which is always a cause for celebration. As would be the new issue of Grayson, but unfortunately, something has gone horribly wrong! Read on to find out what.
Comic Book of the Week goes to Batman #50, the big climax of Scott Snyder and Greg Capullo’s time on the title! The energy and excitement of this issue easily cast aside my various minor hang-ups with Snyder’s Batman. This is a solid, exciting issue.
Speaking of solid, exciting issues, my new Kickstarter is only one week away! Next Saturday we will launch the next fundraising campaign for Gamer Girl & Vixen! I hope I can count on you henchies to lend your support and order my comic!
And if you haven’t had a chance yet, you can read the entire first issue for free! You’re welcome to take my word for it that it’s good, but you can also see for yourself.
Comic Reviews: Batman #50, Grayson #18, Harley Quinn #26, Patsy Walker a.k.a. Hellcat #4, Totally Awesome Hulk #4 and We Are Robin #10.
I Sincerely Hope the LEGO Batman Movie Doesn’t Make the Obvious Robin Jokes
The first teaser trailer for The LEGO Batman Movie arrived the other day, and it’s fun. Should be a good show.
Michael Cera is playing Robin in the movie, which could also be fine. But man, I really really hope they don’t just go with the obvious Robin jokes in this film. I think we can all picture Cera making the same, tired old gay jokes at Robin’s expense. But it’s 2016, dagnabbit! I hope these people have something better in mind.

Today Was the Day to Pick on the Original Batman Movie
With Batman v. Superman: Dawn of Justice on the horizon, the Internet’s favorite quickie critics are tearing down the original Batman movie. Both Honest Trailers and Cinema Sins released their take downs of the Michael Keaton classic.
Good times, good times. I think I’ve put all the original Batman movies behind me. Bring on the new DC Cinematic Universe. I’m willing to give it a shot.
And I bet we’ll have dueling Superman videos later this week!

Hench-Sized Comic Book Reviews – 2/13/16
Happy Love Day, one and all! Oh no, wait, that’s that other holiday. This is Valentine’s Day weekend! This is when we should be feeling the looooove! But alas, none of the comics I read this week had a Valentines bent. Odd, considering we had new issues of Starfire, Totally Awesome Hulk and All-New Wolverine, all of which would totally make good romance comics!
Well…maybe not all of them. Still, solid, enjoyable week for comic books.
Comic Book of the Week goes to Ms. Marvel, which finally proved to me why Kamala Khan should be an Avenger!
I didn’t say it was for good reasons…
Comic Reviews: All-New, All-Different Avengers #5, All-New Wolverine #5, Batman #49, Ms. Marvel #4, Silk #4, Starfire #9 and Totally Awesome Hulk #3.
