Leah Williams is Getting a Fun New Comic: X-Terminators
I am a big fan of Leah Williams and am excited to pass along the news that she’s getting a new X-Men-esque mini-series this summer. She killed it on X-Factor before Marvel shuffled her and the series off to cancellation land. So hopefully this new series, X-Terminators, will provide some quality time for her writing.
I absolutely want to see more comics like X-Terminators in the Krakoa Era. Every single mutant character who has ever lived is available to use, both heroes and villains. And in this day and age, when Marvel is all about the 5-issue mini-series, just let some writers go nuts and have some wild fun with them.
In typical X-Men fashion, what starts as a wild night out gets even crazier when Jubilee, Boom-Boom, and Dazzler are kidnapped and put into elaborate death traps by a mysterious new army of enemies. What are three fierce mutants with the power to blow things up to do? Expect a hardcore, neon-fueled, down and dirty type of adventure unlike any seen before in X-Men history with all the light blasts, fireworks, time bombs, and brawling you can possibly hope for!
The art will be by Carlos Gomez, and the pair of them promise a really fun romp of adventure and chaos. That sounds good to me!
X-Terminators arrives in July!

Strong Guy Watch: Wolverine Team-Up
This blog, the one you’re reading right now, remains the #1 place on the internet to track where Strong Guy shows up in comics. I’ve been doing it for a couple of years now and am still having fun. People actually pay attention. And Strong Guy remains both cool and used in random appearances.
The latest continues to be the Marvel Unlimited X-Men comic. Last issue Strong Guy showed up in an awesome adventure with his best pal, Madrox the Multiple Man. In the newest issue, released last week, Strong Guy has a team-up with Mr. X-Man himself, Wolverine!
I won’t spoil what the duo get up to in this issue, but how cool is it that Guido gets to be written and drawn by Declan Shalvey? And he gets a team-up with Wolverine? Krakoa has been really good to our boy Strong Guy, and I look forward to pointing out more of his random awesome appearances.
Keep watching the comics, Strong Guy Watchers!

6 Super-Animals Who Deserve a Spot on the Pet Avengers
The trailer for the Hit-Monkey cartoon on Hulu arrived on the internet this week and I had a realization: what about all of the other super-pets who don’t have their own cartoon? Super-pets are a hot topic these days. DC Comics is working on an entire super-pets cartoon, featuring the voice talents of Dwayne Johnson. DC takes very good care of their super-pets. But what about Marvel? Sure, the Pet Avengers exist…but are they really as all-encompassing as they could be?
This led to a deep dive into the super-animals at Marvel Comics. The Pet Avengers feature such luminaries as Lockjaw, Redwing, Throg, Lockheed and even Aunt May’s pet dog for some reason. But those animals only scratch the surface of the critters that exist at Marvel and are due their shot! The Pet Avengers need their own animated movie — possibly with the voice talents of John Cena? — and here are some super-animals who deserve a spot on the lineup.
Join me after the jump for six other animal-heroes at Marvel that should be the New Pet Avengers!

I’m intrigued by the upcoming Marvel superheroes video game Midnight Suns. I like a good Marvel video game, and I really enjoyed the XCOM games by the same studio. So Midnight Suns could be a lot of fun. And this longer video shows us how actual gameplay is going to work.
I still don’t know if I fully understand the card-based fighting mechanic…but it could still work. Move your characters around, and their powers are just shaped like cards instead of…I dunno, something more traditional like button presses. But yeah, Midnight Suns looks like it could be a fun game. I suppose I might wait to see some reviews before I dive in, but that’s a decision for future Sean. Right now, this just looks like a potentially cool video game.
Midnight Suns will come out sometime next year, I believe.

6 Things I Want in that New Wolverine Video Game
This is a welcome surprise. We all knew Insomniac was making a full sequel to their previous Spider-Man video game. Heck, I already made a list about what I want to see in that sequel three years ago! But I don’t think any of us had even an inkling that Insomniac was also working on a Wolverine video game! Now that is really damn exciting.
Because I love doing this sort of thing, I’m going to do a new list of things I want to see in the Wolverine video game! I am a longtime fan of Wolverine video games. There have been some real gems over the years. From X2: Wolverine’s Revenge to X-Men Origins: Wolverine; guess they were all movie-connected to some degree. But that’s the old world! Now Wolverine can get his own standalone game, where he just Wolverines the heck out of the place!
Join me after the jump for what I’d like to see in this upcoming, potentially awesome Wolverine video game! And share your own hopes and dreams in the comments.
