Despite the Mockery, I Stand By My Enjoyment of The Amazing Spider-Man 2
Earlier this summer, I rated The Amazing Spider-Man 2 an 8 out of 10, or ‘very good’. I stand by that rating. I enjoyed the movie, I enjoyed the performances and the villains, and I had a good time.
But that doesn’t spare the film from getting torn apart by Internet mockers! Because yeah, there were a lot of dumb moments in that movie. So as is the case with the Internet, here are the Honest Trailer and the Everything Wrong With…for The Amazing Spider-Man 2.
Did you see what they did there? Those nerds are getting creative with their Internet mockery. I like it. Though this might mean that the Internet is becoming self aware…

Once Upon A Time, Armageddon Was My Favorite Movie
I was young. it was a pre-9/11 world. Don’t judge me. At a different point, Signs was my favorite movie of all time. Feels good to get that off my chest. So Cinema Sins, if you haven’t already, do Signs.
Also, is there anybody out there who wants to join my letter writing committee to get Cinema Sins and Honest Trailers to do Space Jam? I am thoroughly let down by the lack of ironic nostalgia about Space Jam. It was Bill Murray’s greatest cameo role ever!
Cinema Sins Does Sin City, a Video So Sinful We All Might Be Going to Hell
This week sees the release of Sin City: A Dame to Kill For. Will it succeed, like the original Sin City? Or will it be just another 300: Rise of an Empire? Waiting a decade for you sequels rarely works out.
But you better believe I’m buying my ticket and seeing that film this weekend! I’m hoping for the best!
Fear the Wrath of Internet Mockery, Ninja Turtles!
Sadly, I’m not going to see the new Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles movie this weekend (or happily, depending on your point of view). I kind of want to see it, no matter how bad it’s going to be. But I’m on vacation this weekend, headed to Boston Comic-Con! That will, hopefully, be a lot more fun. And I’ll be able to talk a lot more about Comic-Con after the weekend. Until then, I’m going to milk the Ninja Turtles for more enjoyment!
Such as, Everything Wrong with the first Ninja Turtles movie courtesy of Cinema Sins!
Then we switch gears for an Honest Trailer of Ninja Turtles 2: Secret of the Ooze!
As a kid, the sequel was my favorite, but it does not hold up very well. I think I watched both movies a few weeks ago, and the both were pretty alright.
As a bonus, we also have Everything Wrong with TMNT, a movie I actually saw in theaters. It was not my finest moment.
Before I leave you, how about I ask the most important question ever: Who is your favorite Ninja Turtle?
Mine is Leonardo. Boss.

Transformers is as Bad as We Remember
I actually liked the first Transformers movie, and maybe a little bit of the third, but mostly the franchise has been just as big, loud and indistinguishable as we remember! And in case you forgot, Cinema Sins is here to help us out with their classic tributes to the first three movies! Though fair warning, the second two clips are both 20 minutes long. I guess there are a lot of sins.
Transformers
Revenge of the Fallen
Dark of the Moon
What better way to prepare for Age of Extinction this weekend?
