Danger Zone. That is All.

Archer fans, prepare to be amazed.

And now that song is going to be stuck in my head all day. Still, thank you, Universe. Today’s gonna be a good day.

Grand Theft Auto V vs. Saints Row IV

Welcome to the first ever side-by-side review here at Henchman-4-Hire! When both Grand Theft Auto V and Saints Row IV decided to release within only a few weeks of each other, we of the strained wallets could only afford one of the two. Fortunately for me, Sean Ian Mills, and my favorite gamer gal pal, Alyssa (1wombat4u), we each had a favorite. I’ve been a Grand Theft Auto groupie since the days of top-down vehicular larceny, and Alyssa is insane – or at least that’s what I would call someone who isn’t in love with the GTA series. But we’ve had some amazing times in the co-op Saints Row games, so she decided to check out the latest in that wacky, dildo bat-loving series. And now we have pit our two experiences against each other in a head-to-head battle to see which 3D crime simulator is truly the best.

It’s the grand daddy of the entire genre vs. the knock-off that managed to find it’s own direction; it’s Grand Theft Auto V vs. Saints Row IV!

Most important question: which one has the prettiest logo?

Let the battle begin after the jump!

I Was Looking for Something Pokemon Related, and This is What the Internet Gave Me

So with the big release of Pokemon X and Y this weekend, I was looking for something Pokemon related to post this week. I looked far and wide for a funny song or a parody – something, anything! And this is what the Internet, in all its glory, provided for our viewing pleasure.

God bless you, Internet. And you too, El Cid. The world is now a better place.

6 Best and 6 Worst Child Superhero Halloween Costumes

It’s that time of year again! Kids, costumes, candy, scantily-clad women at parties I never get invited to; the works! I love Halloween. It might just be my favorite holiday. I love the pageantry of everybody willingly dressing up in costumes as if it were the normal course of business. I love kids going trick-or-treating. I love college students wearing full costumes to class. I love bringing a mask to work and wearing it to freak out receptionists. The whole holiday is just one big, festive free-for-all! And here at Henchman-4-Hire, I’ve developed a Halloween tradition of rating the best superhero Halloween costumes on the market. First I did the women, then the men, and this year it’s superhero costumes for kids!

Why couldn’t this have been my childhood?

There are tons of superhero costumes out there for kids these days, but a geek like me is very specific in what I’d be willing to put on my spawn (if I had any). Some professionally-made costumes actually have skill and effort put into them. They actually look like the superheroes they’re supposed to be. Other professionally-made costumes are a joke, slapped together to sell to unsuspecting parents and nothing more. In this day and age, accuracy counts!

So join me after the jump for the 6 best and the 6 worst superhero Halloween costumes for children!

Everything Wrong With Iron Man 3

The good people at Cinema Sins are at it again with Iron Man 3! And this time, they’re using viewer suggestions for some reason…

These are always entertaining. My brother once pointed out to me that these are basically the 2013 equivalent of Mystery Science Theater 3000 or Rifftrax, only much shorter and a bit punchier. Perhaps that’s where our attention spans are these days.
