First Semi-Official Look at the Ant-Man Villain!
The first trailer for Marvel’s Ant-Man is due to hit the web any day now (hopefully!), so Marvel is ready to ramp up the marketing on the film. Yes, Avengers: Age of Ultron comes first, but everybody in the world is already going to see that. Marketing will consist of Marvel simply telling everybody when to go to the theaters. Ant-Man is going to need to be sold, and with that we have a new banner image leaked online today.
Not only do we get another great look at the movie Ant-Man costume, but here is the first semi-official look at the villain, Yellow Jacket! Some blurry images leaked online weeks ago, but this picture is clear, bright and awesome!
You can check out a bigger version here.
I think Yellow Jacket looks pretty awesome, and he definitely fits as a high-tech, insectoid villain. But man, he’s going to be a hard sell. Hopefully Ant-Man will focus mostly on Ant-Man himself, and the villain won’t be that big of a deal. Most Marvel movies have lame villains anyway.

Honest Trailers: Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles
I still mostly enjoyed the new Ninja Turtle reboot. I went in with an open mind and liked this new take on my favorite Turtles. The simple thing to remember is that there are so many different versions of the Ninja Turtles out there. One shouldn’t get their panties in a twist just because Michael Bay gets to make his version. Give it another 10 years and we’ll have a new cartoon, new comics and new movies. You’ll see!

One Last Bit of Holiday Cheer!
Enjoy some Marvel funsies!
The New Year begins this week, and we’ll worry about that later. For now, I wanted to wish everybody a final Happy Holidays as we say goodbye to Christmas. Lucky for me, there was no shortage of awesome Christmas videos on the Internet this year. Those things are a life saver! And the Marvel What The…?! videos are always a hoot.
As for me, I had a pretty great Christmas. Saw family, had some laughs, played some video games; all in good fun! As for presents, I had a geeky haul this year. I got Spider-Man pot-holders, a Batman decorative towel, Axe Cop action figures, a nifty Star Wars LEGO set and more! Definitely a good time was had by all. I hope you and yours had an equally enjoyable holiday!

Hench-Sized Comic Book Reviews – 12/27/14
Ho, Ho, Ho, my henchies! The holidays are still in full swing for me. I’m visiting family in Rochester, NY today, and that’s always a treat. But even with all the traveling, working and unwrapping of excellent presents, I managed to pick up and read a few comics.
Batman Eternal continues to be the absolute worst, despite all the potential it could have. Damian Wayne returns as Robin like it ain’t no thang. And two of my favorite comics, She-Hulk and Uncanny X-Men, deliver some more stellar issues. Comic Book of the Week goes to She-Hulk #11 for some quality superheroics.
Though Uncanny X-Men is not without its charms.
Goldballs needs to become Bendis’ chief legacy with the X-Men, like what he did for Luke Cage and the Avengers.
Comic Reviews: Batman Eternal #38, Robin Rises – Alpha, She-Hulk #11 and Uncanny X-Men #29.
A Little More Holiday Cheer From Gamer Girl & Vixen!
Check out this gorgeous Christmas image artist Gemma Moody drew for Gamer Girl & Vixen! It’s stuff like this that reminds me I’m working with some great people!
I’ll be working and traveling today, the Christmas festivities not yet over. But I’ll post some comic reviews on Saturday, and maybe share some of my Christmas presents on Sunday! I got some really geeky stuff this year that I’m excited to share! I hope all of your henchmen holidays are going well!
