The 6 Gnarliest Uses of Cerberus in Pop Culture
Halloween is my favorite holiday, and I like to celebrate on my blog with monster lists! I’ve done ghosts, I’ve done movie monsters, and this year we’re going to celebrate my favorite monster of all time: Cerberus, the original dog from Hell!
I was a huge fan of Greek Myths when I was a kid. I used to take this big book of Greek Myths out of the Middle School library all the time! And Cerberus, the three-headed guard dog of the Underworld, was my favorite monster. He’s just so snarly and badass! I even used to draw a Cerberus superhero, who had a normal head, then two fake dog heads on his shoulders as part of his costume. Man, I’d give anything to find some of my old middle school sketches… Anyway, for Halloween this year, I’ve put together a list of the best Cerberus cameos in pop culture!

Why Are Costume Websites Our Leading Source of Superhero Infographics?
It boggles the mind! All the costume websites seem to produce superhero infographics that often don’t have anything to do with costumes (but sometimes they do!). Are there no other people in the world making these graphics? Do these costume websites, which are about selling Halloween costumes, have people on staff just to make these infographics? How much money do they make?!
This time around, MorphSuits.com has made a list of Marvel characters who deserve their own movie! I agree with about half this list. I was never interested in Adam Warlock, and I have an odd hang-up about bringing She-Hulk into the Marvel Cinematic Universe. I made a list like this myself once, way back at the start of my blog in 2011. Maybe I should update it to fit Marvel’s current plans going forward…

Weird Al Has Been Touring With the Same Band His Entire Career
And they’ve put together a home-made version of their hit single, Tacky!
I just thought I’d share some musical fun with you today, seeing as how it’s Weird Al, and he can do no wrong. But I was kind of amazed to learn he’s been touring with the same band since he got his start in the 80s. That’s kind of insane. Did we even know that Weird Al had a band?!

Star Wars Trailer Supercuts!
The Internet being what it is, several industrial geeks out there have spliced together all of the Star Wars: The Force Awakens trailers into two big, awesome super trailers!
Seriously, two different people did this.
First is the one by James Darling of Science vs. Cinema.
And then we have a super trailer by Shaun Cauthen of ScreenSlam.
Big props to all the geeks involved. This movie looks pretty neat! And it’s coming out in December! That’s, like, right around the corner!

Hench-Sized Comic Book Reviews – 10/24/15
Apparently Marvel Comics is quite keen on us enjoying their new Iron Man and Spider-Man comics, because the second issues are already here! And they’re both still pretty great! Marvel also delivers the return of Ant-Man this week, and drops a Karnak bomb in our laps! Writer Warren Ellis has got to be sitting on a pretty awesome throne these days. The guy is like one of those mafia ‘fixers’ who can just come in and kick ass no matter what assignment he gets.
Not that DC are slouching! Batman and Robin Eternal remains pretty solid and entertaining so far, and the latest issue of Gotham Academy is a ton of fun.
But Comic Book of the Week has to go to Amazing Spider-Man #2 for one of the funniest Spidey comics I’ve read in awhile!
Dan Slott is on a role! Also, the Prowler is pretty amazing in this issue too.
Comic Reviews: Amazing Spider-Man #2, Astonishing Ant-Man #1, Batman and Robin Eternal #3, Gotham Academy #11, Invincible Iron Man #2, Karnak #1 and Titans Hunt #1.
