Talk a Walk Down Warcraft Memory Lane!
The Warcraft movie is out and it’s getting terrible reviews! That might dull its success in America, but it’s killing overseas! Hope for a sequel remains! I won’t see the film until Saturday night, but until then, we can always count on the Honest Trailers folks to have some fun.
Those take me back. I’ve played Warcraft since the very beginning. Such a fun game! I hope to enjoy the movie.

Am I The Only One Around Here Who Doesn’t Care About Legendary Pokemon?
New information about Pokemon Sun and Moon is coming out in drips and drabs. We’re still waiting on the evolution of the new starters (and I’m still a Litten man), but here’s a short video introducing the two legendary Pokemon for the game! And I couldn’t care less!
I haven’t cared about a legendary Pokemon since Mewtwo. I just don’t see the point. You get them automatically. Pick whichever one is on the cover, and the story gives you that one for free. There’s no skill, no hunting, no real challenge. And there’s always some lame reason why these two Pokemon are the best ever, despite there being two similar legendary pokemon for the past several games.
I’m probably gonna go with the cosmic space bat.

Overwatch is Right Around the Corner
Did anybody else play the Overwatch Beta last weekend? Blizzard has never let me down, so I gave it a shot. Sometimes I did well, sometimes I did not. Now I’m debating whether or not to get the full game when it’s released at the end of the month. Normally I’m terrible at first-person shooters, especially a game like this, against other people.
But if Overwatch has a story mode to match these animated shorts, I may have to definitely consider getting the game.
These cartoons definitely help explain the characters better, at least. There are more than a dozen super-people introduced in this game, and they’re a little hard to keep track of right off the bat.

The First Assassin’s Creed Movie Trailer Doesn’t Look Half Bad
I have some reservations about the Assassin’s Creed movie, and they’re the same ones I have with the games: the modern day bookends are really, really stupid. The heart of the story is in the past. Why not just tell a story about the character in the past? Why add this overly convoluted extra story about a guy in the present getting plugged into a machine so that the bad guys can put him into some kind of virtual reality memory machine? Why is that necessary? It’s not like the present day storyline ever really paid off in the games.
But hey, the trailer looks pretty cool.
I like the seriousness of the trailer. Like, they’re really pushing it, and I think it definitely works for this movie. And the trailer does a good job of explaining this dumb, convoluted set-up. Here’s hoping the film is better than I give it credit for!

Behold, Our New Pokemon Starters!
The new starters for Pokemon Sun and Moon were revealed today, and I definitely think I’m going with the kitty cat.
That’s Rowlett the grass type, Litten the fire type and Popplio the water type. The cat looks cool as heck, so I think I’m definitely down for the Litten this go around. But we’ll see how their evolutions play out. If that seal/clown thing gets really cool by the end, I might have to switch. The owl does nothing for me.
You can find more information about them at the official website.
There’s an introductory video too, and we get to see the new iconic Legendary pokemon. Sun gets a lion and Moon gets a bat.
Even though bats are my favorite animal, I can’t quite decide which I like better! That lion would go well with my new Litten…
Either way, I’m just grateful that I won’t need to buy a new handheld console to play this game. Seriously, twice now in my life I have bought a brand new Nintendo DS just to play the new Pokemon game. That is not responsible adulting. The game comes out on Nov. 18.
What do you henchies think? Got a favorite choice already? Let me know in the comments!
